Shadow from the Past

Morning in the hospital greeted with a calm atmosphere. Satria still lay on the bed, surrounded by medical equipment and machines that continuously monitored his condition. The room was filled with soft sunlight, giving a peaceful impression that contrasted with the intensity of the battle he had endured. Although his condition had stabilized, the recovery process still required time and extra care.

Outside the intensive care unit, military officer Lieutenant Colonel Rendra stood in front of the information desk, speaking with a burly man whose face bore a very serious expression. This man was Colonel Faisal, a military veteran who had experienced the harsh realities of battle. He had come to ensure that Satria's situation was under strict supervision and to discuss the next steps.

"Colonel Faisal, thank you for coming," said Rendra, extending his hand. "Satria's condition is still critical, but we hope he will recover."

Faisal grasped Rendra's hand with a firm grip, showing his formal demeanor. "I came to monitor the situation firsthand. We know that Satria is not just a soldier; he is a valuable asset to all of us. What's the next step?"

"So far, our doctors are monitoring his condition around the clock," Rendra replied. "However, we also need to prepare for the worst-case scenario if Apex decides to strike or if other threats emerge."

Faisal nodded, his eyes sharp and focused. "We must be prepared for any possibility. Satria may be in a critical state, but we need to ensure that nothing further threatens his safety."

Inside the intensive care unit, Satria felt a familiar presence. Shadows from the past appeared in his dreams, reminding him of the times when he was just a child. He recalled life before the tragedy that took his family, those peaceful times before the world turned into a place filled with violence and battles.

In one corner of the room, Dr. Arif stood with his team, discussing Satria's latest condition. "We need to ensure that Satria receives the best possible care, but we also need to consider the psychological impact of the trauma he has experienced," said Dr. Arif. "He is not just physically wounded but also under significant mental strain."

"How can we further help him?" asked one of the nurses, Rina, with genuine concern.

"We must monitor not only his physical condition but also his mental health," Dr. Arif replied. "It's important that we make sure he feels safe and has the emotional support he needs."

Meanwhile, outside the hospital, the atmosphere at the military headquarters began to buzz with preparations for a possible attack from Apex. Special teams were deployed to patrol and monitor suspicious activity around the area. They also began identifying potential threats and planning defensive strategies.

Dani, the captain of the military team, gathered his members in the briefing room. "We need to prepare for any scenario. Satria is a primary target for Apex now. If they know that he is severely injured, they might try to strike. We must ensure that this hospital is safe from any threats."

His team members nodded, listening attentively. They understood how crucial their role was in keeping Satria safe and ensuring the mission continued.

Back in the intensive care unit, as Satria slowly began to regain consciousness, he found himself in a semi-conscious state. His body felt heavy and sore, but his mind was clear. He could hear voices around him and sense the presence of people nearby. Although his eyes were still closed, he felt a gentle hand touching him, trying to provide comfort and support.

Beside the bed, a woman with a gentle face and a soothing voice, Nurse Rina, sat attentively. Rina was an experienced nurse assigned to assist Satria in his physical recovery. "Satria, you're safe here. We are all here to help you recover," Rina said softly.

Satria tried to open his eyes, feeling heavy and tired. "What happened?" His voice was hoarse, and he felt as though he could barely speak.

"You were severely injured in the fight," Rina replied, "But you're in a safe place now. The doctors and our team are working hard to make sure you recover."

Satria nodded slowly, but his face showed pain and exhaustion. "Apex… what are they doing?" he asked in a voice barely audible.

Rina looked at him with full attention, trying to maintain calmness. "We are monitoring the situation and working to ensure there are no additional threats. You don't need to worry about that now. Focus on getting better."

Outside the intensive care unit, the collaboration between various military teams and doctors became increasingly crucial. While Satria fought to return to normal, the military team, composed of various units, worked together to ensure that the hospital remained secure and that all protective measures were in place.

One of the team members, Lieutenant Agus, who had previously been involved in the rescue mission, was tasked with overseeing and coordinating team activities in the field. "We must ensure that all positions are secure and ready to act if necessary," he told his team. "Stay alert, and make sure that no potential threats are overlooked."

His team worked efficiently, monitoring everything from a distance and ensuring that nothing suspicious was happening around the hospital. They knew that a threat from Apex could come at any time, and they had to be ready to protect Satria and everyone involved.

Days passed, and although Satria was still in the recovery process, he began to regain his consciousness and strength. Rina continued to stay by his side, providing the emotional and psychological support he desperately needed. Satria also began to regain his strength, albeit slowly.

On one bright morning, as Satria started to feel better, he engaged Rina in conversation. "Rina, thank you for all your help," he said with a stronger voice.

Rina smiled gently. "There's no need to thank me, Satria. We're here to help you. We know how hard you've fought, and we'll continue to be here until you fully recover."

Satria nodded, feeling slightly lighter after the conversation. He knew that his journey was still long, but he also knew that he was not alone in his struggle. The support from the military team, doctors, and those around him provided the additional strength he so desperately needed.
