Facing the Truth

Satria slowly began to feel his strength returning. Over time, his body, which initially felt heavy and full of wounds, started to heal, although pain still accompanied his every movement. Rina, the nurse who had stayed by Satria's side during his recovery, remained loyal to him. Every morning, she ensured that Satria received the best care she could provide, both physically and emotionally.

Today, as the morning sunlight began to filter through the curtain cracks, Satria decided that he could no longer lie in bed doing nothing. Although his body still felt weak, he forced himself to get up. Slowly, with Rina's help, Satria sat on the side of the bed, feeling the cold floor beneath his feet.

"Satria, you should rest longer," Rina said with a concerned tone. "You're not fully recovered yet."

Satria shook his head. "I've rested enough, Rina. Apex won't wait for me to fully recover. They will keep moving, and I have to be ready to face them."

Rina could see the determination in Satria's eyes. Although she wanted him to stay in bed until he was completely healed, she knew she couldn't stop his strong desire to continue his mission. She decided to support him in the best way she could.

"Okay," Rina said, taking a deep breath. "But you have to promise not to push yourself too hard. At least allow me to monitor your condition."

Satria gave a small smile and nodded. "I promise, Rina. I won't push myself."

With Rina's help, Satria began doing light exercises to regain his strength. They started with breathing exercises and light stretches. Every movement felt heavy, but Satria remained determined to keep going. He knew that the faster he recovered, the greater his chances of stopping Apex and uncovering the truth behind his family's death.

Meanwhile, at the military headquarters, Colonel Faisal and Lieutenant Colonel Rendra continued to monitor the situation. They received the latest reports from the intelligence team about Apex's movements. According to the information they had obtained, Apex was planning a massive attack to destroy all evidence that could lead to their identities.

"We have to act quickly," Colonel Faisal said seriously. "If this information is correct, they will try to attack this hospital. We can't let that happen."

Lieutenant Colonel Rendra nodded in agreement. "I agree. We need to strengthen security around the hospital and ensure that Satria remains safe."

They immediately issued orders to fortify defenses. All available military units were deployed to guard the hospital, ensuring that no threats could approach. Patrols were intensified, and every corner of the hospital was closely monitored.

On the other hand, Satria felt that something was wrong. Although his body was starting to recover, his mind was still haunted by nightmares from his past. Every night, he woke up in a cold sweat, reminded of the tragic events that had taken his family. These memories became clearer and more disturbing, as if there was something important he had forgotten.

"Rina, something keeps bothering me," Satria said one day as they were doing light exercises. "I keep remembering my past... my family. But there's a part of that memory that feels hazy, as if I'm forgetting something important."

Rina looked at him with empathy. "Maybe it's the effect of the trauma you experienced, Satria. Your mind might be trying to protect you from something too painful."

Satria shook his head. "No, it's more than just trauma. There's something I want to remember, something important. I have to find out what it is."

Rina understood that Satria wouldn't be at peace until he found the answers to his questions. "If that's what you want, I'll help you in any way I can," she said firmly.

Satria gave a weak smile. "Thank you, Rina. Your support means a lot to me."

Days passed, and although the threat from Apex still loomed, Satria continued to recover. He began to recall more about his past, pieces of memories that had long been buried started to resurface. One night, as he sat alone in his hospital room, the memories that had been hazy suddenly came back with clarity.

He remembered a night before the accident that had taken his family's lives. They were on their way home after attending an event. At that time, young Satria sat in the back seat, listening to his parents' conversation in the front. His mother was talking about something important, something that seemed to worry his father. However, before Satria could hear more, a loud explosion was heard, and everything went dark.

That memory shocked Satria. All this time, he had only remembered the accident as a tragedy without any clear reason. But now, he began to realize that there was something bigger behind it. Something that might be the key to uncovering the truth about Apex and why they were interested in him.

The next day, Satria decided to talk to Colonel Faisal and Lieutenant Colonel Rendra about what he had just remembered. With still weak steps, he headed to the briefing room, where the two military officers were discussing defensive measures.

"Colonel Faisal, Lieutenant Colonel Rendra, there's something I need to tell you," Satria said in a firm voice.

The two officers turned to him, surprised to see Satria, who was supposed to still be resting, already standing before them.

"What happened, Satria?" Rendra asked with concern.

"I remembered something about the night of the accident," Satria replied. "Before the accident happened, I heard a conversation between my parents. They were talking about something that seemed important, something that might be related to why our family became a target."

Colonel Faisal looked at Satria with full attention. "Do you remember what they were talking about?"

Satria shook his head. "Not entirely. But I'm sure this wasn't just a regular accident. There's something bigger behind it, something that might be connected to Apex."

Rendra took a deep breath. "Then we need to find out more. This could be the clue we need to stop Apex."

Colonel Faisal nodded in agreement. "We will investigate this further. Satria, you've done a lot, but remember that your health is the top priority. Let us handle this."

Satria felt relieved, even though he knew that this struggle was far from over. However, he also knew that he wasn't alone in this fight. The support from the military team, the doctors, and Rina gave him the strength to keep going.

Meanwhile, at Apex's headquarters, a man with a stern face and cold eyes sat in his chair, looking at the map spread out on the table. In front of him, several of his subordinates stood, waiting for orders.

"The situation on the ground is getting more difficult," one of them said. "The military has tightened surveillance around the hospital. We can't get close without being detected."

The man, known as Raka, the operational leader of Apex, gave a slight smile. "No need to worry. We've been playing hide and seek with the military for long enough. Now it's time to change the game."

He rotated the map, pointing to strategic points around the hospital. "We'll lure them out. They think we're going to attack directly, but we'll distract them first. Once they're drawn out, we'll launch the real attack."

His subordinates nodded, understanding the strategy Raka had planned. They knew that even though Satria was injured, he was still a major threat to Apex. And they wouldn't stop until Satria was removed from the game.

Raka stood up, staring sharply at the map in front of him. "We'll launch the attack soon. Make sure everything is ready."

Back at the hospital, Satria felt that something was wrong. Although everything seemed calm, he couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen. He decided to stay alert, sharpening his already keen fighting instincts, ready for whatever might come.

Satria's struggle to uncover the truth had just begun. Although his memories were slowly returning, he knew that there were still many secrets to be revealed. And behind it all, the threat from Apex was becoming more real, lurking in every corner, ready to destroy everything he loved.

However, Satria would not back down. With unwavering determination and the support of those who believed in him, he would face whatever came his way. After all, this was his journey to find the truth—and he wouldn't stop until he found it.
