Reality

As I slowly regained consciousness, I found myself in an unfamiliar room, my wounds cleaned and dressed. Ten sat beside me, his eyes filled with concern.

"Thank you for taking care of me," I said, my voice weak.

Ten's expression softened. "It wasn't me, Navia. Pit stayed up all night taking care of you. You had a fever, and he was worried sick."

I tried to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washed over me. Ten gently pushed me back onto the pillow. "Don't exert yourself. You need to rest."

I nodded, still trying to process the events of the previous day. Pit's behavior was confusing - he had abused me, yet he cared for me when I was sick. I felt a mix of emotions: anger, fear, and uncertainty.

"Ten, where is Pit?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Ten's expression turned serious, and he hesitated before answering. "Pit's dealing with some personal issues."

I sensed a hint of secrecy in Ten's voice and wondered what he was hiding.

"Navia, can I take you somewhere?" Ten asked, his eyes locked on mine.

I hesitated, "Where?"

Ten's smile was reassuring. "Just come with me, Navia. I promise you'll be safe."

I decided to trust him, and we left the room together. The ride was short, and we soon arrived at a house. Inside, I saw David tied to a chair, with Mr. Can standing next to him.

My heart raced as Ten led me to a chair opposite David. "What's going on, Ten?" I demanded.

Ten's expression turned cold, and he tied me to the chair. "Sorry, Navia. I had no choice. It's either you or the man I love."

I felt betrayed, and my mind raced with questions. What did Ten mean?who the man he loves? What's going on?.

Ten spoke, his voice firm. "Dad, I did what you asked. Please let David go."
