Humiliate them

Adrienne stole the ball from a panicked Gerard, and soon, he was faced with Riley. The other defenders ran back at full speed.

Instead of moving any further, Adrienne suddenly cut outside of the box.

Did you think I wouldn't see that?

As Adrienne moved away, Divine ran past him. Divine tried to hold onto Adrienne but it was futile.

Even Neo was taken aback. Divine was totally supposed to be in Adrienne's blind spot, but I guess the Grid Lord has no blind spot.

Neo grinned. The Grid lock is really amazing, isn't it?

Aesop ran past Adrienne as Adrienne chipped the ball upwards, setting the ball perfectly for Aesop to make the finish.

Aesop delivered the volley with a clean hit but he was denied by Riley who had blazing eyes as he made the save.

Raphael had already returned and was going for the rebound that was falling slowly but Adrienne suddenly appeared in his path.

That was the most annoying part of the grid. The fact that the Grid lock could see you and cut off your path was very annoying for anyone.

Raphael was annoyed. Damn! How are we supposed beat this damn grid!?

Adrienne smiled. You aren't. That's the nature of the Grid, all must bow, because all is seen!

At the same time, we can't take our eyes off Neo, after all we know he is the main problem.

If Adrienne had the Grid Lock in the match against Marbles, then they would have easily come up with a big lead, but today, they were faced with a stronger opponent, and the Grid might not just be enough to topple them.

Neo ran out slowly, a small distance behind Adrienne. Adrienne smiled, before crossing the ball in Neo's direction.

Neo was surprised as he suddenly felt an impact on his body, he turned around and saw Stanley trying to shake his balance and steal the ball, or at least stop Neo from winning the ball.

How did he know? Neo thought to himself.

Adrienne smiled again. I told you, It's futile. I see all.

The ball suddenly went past Neo and Stanley.

And in the next moment…

…GOALLL!!!!

The ball had made its way past Neo and Stanley and found Cai who was alone.

And Cai had done well to plant the ball firmly in the back of the net.

Neo smiled. He liked this, but he didn't really like to be used by Adrienne.

At this rate, Adrienne would start to question his position as the ace of the team. Although Neo had only joined about a month ago, he had done beautifully well and had instantly taken the position of the ace of team, stealing the position from Aesop.

But Aesop didn't really care, as to him Soccer was just something he used to kill time.

Adrienne had suddenly become good, so good that he could now almost rival Neo's abilities. His Grid Lock was certainly almost better than Flash steps, but Neo could maintain his position as the ace with his Floater shots. That is if, Adrienne doesn't suddenly get another level up or even improve his Grid lock more.

Neo had honed his floater shots for several years, but the Grid Lock was only twenty one days old.

The score was now 3-1. Krystal Fc was humiliating Galaxy stars, at this rate, they had to either amp up their game or shamefully crawl out of the tournament.

Destiny shot a menacing look at Heath. Pass me the ball.

Heath wanted to object, but who was he to object when his ace was asking for the ball?

Heath was Destiny's senior, but when faced with Destiny's aura and presence right now, Heath shivered and didn't dare to object Destiny Xavi.

Destiny was a first year, while Heath was a second year, but the sharpness and tenacity in Destiny's tone scared Heath.

Destiny took the ball and started moving forward again, going on Solo.

That was a problem, the only person Destiny ever teamed up with in his team was Asher. Even at that, he tended to go on solo plays most of the time, and that was never going to defeat a team like Krystal Fc.

At most, the score will only widen. His anger won't change anything in the game, his plays would. And he had better changed his play style.

Neo quickly blocked Destiny's path.

We're doing this again, huh?

Destiny ignored him.

In a second, Destiny kickstarted scissors legs, he didn't go with the kneeling skill that no one knew its name. Rather, he just went with a normal dribble pattern.

Destiny's legs moved very fast and in a heartbeat, he had gotten past Neo.

Neo's eyes first widened, then his lips curved up into a smile.

Bingo!

Brugh!

Destiny fell to the floor as Adrienne suddenly appeared beside him and knocked the ball off him.

What they hadn't expected was…

…Pii!

Adrienne turned to the referee in shock.

Huh!? How was that a foul!?
