Second Half

The referee simply ignored Adrienne and proceeded to spray white on the spot where the free kick was to be taken.

Nico had a brightened look on his face, at least his team had managed to stop Destiny enough times.

If anything, it would affect the morale of Galaxy stars to see their Ace repeatedly stopped in the match.

Right now, Krystal Fc was controlling the flow of the game and they were not going to let it slip away.

44 mins.

The free kick was to be taken by Micah Reines.

Micah hit the ball with precision. The ball went upwards and swerved around, coming straight for the Angel's shower.

Neo swiftly turned around, he saw Adrienne on Raphael, trying to keep the Angelic defender from jumping.

Trying to stop me from jumping? Raphael said with a grin. Then I'm sorry, cause you'll have to try a lot more than this!

With that, Raphael took off, throwing his head backwards, and looking to get the header.

Neo smirked. I had a feeling you would fail, The Angel's shower is too strong…

…so I decided to do this!

Everyone had a look of shock on their faces as a shoe suddenly collided with the ball, changing its trajectory slightly.

Raphael was annoyed as the ball just grazed the top of his head and went on to fall harmlessly beside Zuri.

For five seconds, nobody moved, then suddenly, all Galaxy stars players rushed forward and swarmed the referee.

Hey! Referee!! That was a foul!

That's illegal! He threw a shoe at the ball!

Pii!

Pii!

Ignoring them, the referee blew his whistle loudly, ending the first half.

Krystal Fc players all ran towards Neo and they gave him bear hugs.

From the sidelines, Nico was quiet as he stared at his players expressing their joy.

Adrienne stood a little distance away, the last play still repeating in his head. Neo might not have any ability that allowed him to have an insight on the future or anything that was happening constantly, but he had brains, and that was an unshakable weapon.

An indestructible weapon with no weaknesses.

After interpreting Micah Reine's breathing, he predicted that the midfielder would cross the ball over to Raphael. And Raphael, being such a great jumper, would surely win the header, after future predictions, Adrienne realized that a Goal would be inevitable if the ball got to Raphael.

So Adrienne decided to Mark Raphael, and stop him from jumping.

But when Adrienne really marked Raphael, he realized it was easier said than done. Raphael just proved to be too strong and he couldn't even hold the defender down for a moment.

When Raphael had finally jumped, Adrienne's Grid Lock picked up the sound of someone pulling his shoes. In the same moment, this same person started throwing their shoe. Adrienne was a bit surprised to realize that it was Neo.

It was a big risk he had taken there, and he was very lucky that the referee hadn't considered it a foul play. but at the same time, if he hadn't done such a thing, the momentum would have gone to Galaxy stars as Raphael would have surely scored the Goal.

Neo smiled to himself. If no one in Galaxy stars decided to suddenly have a rude awakening, then the match was no longer in a debate. Krystal Fc would surely win this match.

Well, even if anyone on the opposing team decides to have an awakening, Neo still had the epic trick of flash steps and the God Mode which he didn't even know how to activate.

And once in the God mode, The Gyflo shot would become a very possible possibility.

The Half time was brief and didn't record anything worthy of note.

And shortly after, the second half began.

Krystal Fc introduced a substitute, he was to come in for miles whose name hadn't even been mentioned this first half.

Staring at Miles walking out of the pitch with slumped shoulders, Neo couldn't help but cast a look at Adrienne.

What if Miles just amps up a new ability like the Grid Lock?

The substitute was an attacking minded player, that was Nico's plan.

Galaxy stars weren't going to let things end this way, and he wasn't going to sit back either, he needed to score more goals.

Neon began the second half with a pass to Micah, the brothers seemed to pass to themselves a lot more than normal.

Meanwhile, Asher stretched as his purple hair dangled around. He fixed a steady gaze on Adrienne.

The Grid lord, Huh? This was unexpected.

Asher closed his eyes for about two seconds, and when he opened them again, the silhouette of a clock flashed in his eyes.

Asher cracked his neck a bit. I guess this will be a battle between the Clock eye and the Grid Lock!
