making the superhuman feel inferior

It was very unusual for Neo to say such a thing, but right now, he was really pissed. A first year like Destiny had insulted him so many times, even trolling Krystal Fc. Neo was so aggravated that he subconsciously slipped into the God Mode.

Meanwhile, Neo didn't actually have to say anything. He just had to intend to make a gesture and Adriennne only had to read his breath pattern, from that, Adrienne would be able to tell was he wanted to do.

It was the strongest and most formiddable team. The Silent team.

Slap!

Asher placed his hand on his face with a loud sound.

Ahhh!

Looks like you just awakened a demon.

Destiny who also saw the changes in Neo could only keep quiet. Asher had a dry smile on his face as he spoke.

You could have, at least, waited for us to take the lead before you touched his tail.

Destiny frowned, then he turned around before speaking.

Stay focused, put your clock view to use all the time…

Asher immediately interrupted. What!? Are you trying to kill me? If I should ever put my clock view to use all the time, I would collapse instantly, do you know how much mental power it takes?

Destiny waved his hand. Alright, forget it. Just do your thing.

Eric passed the ball to Adrienne who quickly found Cai with a semi-layup pass.

Cai used his heels to flick the ball towards Aesop before creating space, luring and distracting a few defenders with his run.

Aesop passed the ball to Bice who found Neo.

Neo quickly gave a mid level pass to Aesop before Running off.

Krystal Fc's runs always surprised their opponents. They all always seemed to have an unknown destination that they always ran towards after passing the ball.

Whether it was a strategy or not, their opponents never liked such runs.

Destiny immediately blocked Neo. Even though Neo was not with the ball, he was still his mark, and he was going to make sure he found out about that additional red glow that had suddenly appeared in Neo's pupils.

Destiny feigned a surprised expression, obviously trying to draw out some information from Neo while sticking to him tightly.

Huh? What's that red glow around your eye?

Neo ignored him. But Destiny had a goal, he wasn't going to allow Neo's silence to shake his ground.

Hey, why are you being so silent? How did you get that red glow around your eye? Can I get one too?

Neo used his peculiar footwork to shake Destiny and create a space for him to exploit.

But before he used his peculiar footwork, the red glow around Neo's pupils had suddenly flashed and Neo had confused him.

Destiny still managed to cover the space quickly but Neo's reaction was no joke.

Neo quickly used flash steps and returned to the direction he just came from, Destiny couldn't move or even blink his eyes as Neo dashed past him.

Destiny's pupils constricted as ran past him.

What did he see…?

Just what…did he see…?

For the first time, Destiny truly felt very much inferior compared to Neo, Adrienne and Asher. Asher and Adrienne had very much impressive abilities, but Neo reached a very impressive level by simply making predictions after observing his opponent. Right now, Neo, Asher and Adrienne had probably read into the future, but he was still left in the dark, not knowing anything.

Neo looked around himself as everything seemed to be slowed down.

Shit! Asher! He broke through!

Destiny called out desperately to Asher as Neo had successfully gotten past him.

Asher turned swiftly and switched marks with Destiny as he went to mark Neo.

Destiny and Asher crossed paths as Destiny went to mark Adrienne instead.

But Adrienne was bound to show him that he should always respect his seniors.

Using his Grid Lock to the most, Adrienne spotted Destiny's range of vision and he quickly stepped backwards, disappearing from Destiny's vision.

Destiny was caught unawares as Adrienne suddenly disappeared from his eyes.

Destiny put his brains to action, there was no way Adrienne would have disappeared, so he just spun around, trying to locate Adrienne again.

But he shouldn't have, he should have just returned to his penalty area and defended there instead.

Adrienne used his grid lock again, and he spun in the opposite direction, evading Destiny's eye again.

When Destiny finally spotted Adrienne, Adrienne had already moved very far away from him.

Staring at Adrienne's figure dashing towards his goal, Destiny was again, washed over with a feeling of inferiority.

They are all…so cool…

I…w..want..to be like…Them!
