Hazel pov

"And I loved it". I finished explaining to eve,how my day with Henry went, while watching her brush my hair.

" And I can tell you really did". Her sweet voice teased.

"It was Great ". except from the fact I was held by a demon, that sounds strange, and why haven't I ever heard of them, I have been in this kingdom for eighteen years and I just learned about the demons today, but maybe someone else would.

"Eve do you know anything about the Demons?". Lord Henry only gave the little details, and when I asked again, he said I didn't need to know much about them, and that makes me want to know more, in my defense I should know things about my land.

" Nothing much, why do you want to know about them, I mean am sure his highness, won't want you to know about something so dangerous, and saying that I realize it would only make you want to know more". Giggling I nod my head, she really gets me.

" Well I do know they are dangerous, and no one has ever seen them without the Clover ". Her hands run through my nighties, giving me the look to pick one.

" That really can't be all". I mumbled gesturing towards the black nightie, black's is always the best, she makes the face that says why did I even ask, making me laugh.

" Well they have been the talk of the town recently, they move from land to land, in search of what ever they, want, so they really isn't much about them, except they have dark Powers".

" One like aunt lily?". I ask , putting my nightie on.

" Okay like that but worst, and you shouldn't worry, they are probably just around, or heard about your wedding and decideded to stop for a cake". She joked making me laugh.

" But I was poking around the library and I kinda found a book about them". She explained.

"So let's go".

"But it's literally still the same thing, it just say they are travelers and ancient beings". She tried to discourage.

" Well the library has been a thousand years old, are they are ancient beings, so they must be a book about them". I'll pretty much like to know more about something that scared me today.

" Ok but you have to change".

" Eve the library is a private place let's go". I said pulling her out.

" You really are going to get me killed". She mumbled being pulled behind me.

Getting into the library, I pull eve in and closed the huge doors behind me.

" Now let's search for something ancient".

" In this place,. it's going to take a thousand years".

" Well we don't have a thousand years". I said walking towards the ladder.

" We've been here for hours my lady there's nothing about the demons here, except for this one book that says demons don't exist". Eve said dropping the hundredth book we've searched.

" There must be something about them". I picked up a book, and found another one behind it, I picked it up and it read. Tenebris.

That was latin for darkness, I think I found it, opening the book I set it down on the table, but it was all written in Latin.

" Can you understand that?". Eve asked while I nodded.

' Tenebrae, istae, tenebras regunt ac vicissim moderantur, daemones id quod sui ipsius appellant, haud procul a vero abest'. ( TRANSLATION: Darkness, these beings, rule the darkness and in turn are controlled, what the demons call their own, is not far from the truth). This wasn't helping, I turned the pages trying to understand what this ment.

'infernum non est tutum quando illuc venit. ( TRANSLATION: Hell is not safe when he come in there)'. Wait who?.

" you know me standing here watching you read a strange language isn't fun". I smile at her and go back into my book, and she let out a heavy sigh, she was dramatic.

Okay that was something, there was nothing, and hell this book was just hell bent on scaring, who ever was reading it and who ever wrote it was definitely someone who likes the suspense.

Turning the pages I figured they were ripped bad.

" Am bored my lady, let's go".

" You're right let's go, it's probably passed midnight".

Getting back into my room I completely forgot about my book and want nothing more than my bed, and that what I got.

While eve place my hair in a lovely way, am to endorsed in my book to notice she pulled too hard, and plus this book was annoying almost all the pages were ripped.

" Still into that book?". Eve ask

" Yeah, I mean I have nothing better to do". And she nods agreeing with me, going back into my book I flipped the pages and found the tragic death of all the goddess.

'Lumina, omnia lumina lunam moritura postquam prophetia revelatur' ( TRANSLATION : The lights, all lights would die a moon after the prophecy is revealed )'. What prophecy?.

And the next three pages were ripped, really??.

' Nascitur lumen, valens ad portas inferni claudere, sed nunquam cadere in eo Sed necesse est ut per sanguinem lucis fluat'. [ Translation: A light is born, able to close the gates of hell, but never to fall into it, still needs to flow through the blood of the lights.]

What does that even mean?.

" My lady". Eve called and I looked up to see her holding my dance shoes, I completely forgot about the dance, guess I'll have to get back into this annoying book later

King Williams, could see Adam lips moving, but couldn't hear a single word he was saying.

" Your majesty we think this isn't serious". Adam has been talking about, king James sending threats, in all honesty king Williams wasn't listening, king James was a little kid who obviously doesn't know how to rule a kingdom, it would be a shame if he lost the throne and kingdom, within a year of being king, someone needed to teach him manners, King Williams would when he had time, but now he was extremely tired.

" Not as serious, as the fact that demons is in our kingdom". Henry said walking in gracefully, that's what king Williams liked about him, he wasn't someone to back down, and he knows hazel would be happy with him.

" Demons?". King Williams asked and Henry nodded, taking a seat, If it was someone else, King Williams would laugh in their face, his kingdom has been peacefully for years, they really don't need the demons, and again the demons doesn't just go around like that they always have a mission, a mission to destroy, unless, he hoped what his thinking wasn't it.

" How, and why are they here?".

" Well I was in town today and". He stopped and cleared his throat, indicating he almost spilled something.

" Well, I was in town and this lady got attached, but he didn't hurt her, as a warning, I looked into It and it seems everyone with high standard, in the kingdom has had a visit from the demons, but not hurting them, instead dropped this with every household they visited, I have no idea what it is but it seems it's something they want this time ". Taking the paper out of his hands king Williams found the drawing of the key. And it was it, Fucking hell.

FLASH BACK.

"what's that daddy". Hazel asked pointing her tinny cute fingers at the key.

" It's a key sweetheart". King Williams explained.

" But it isn't shaped like one, why is is called a key if It doesn't look like one". Her cute tiny voice asked.

" That's something for the grown ups sweetheart".

" but why is it glowing?".she ask again frowning trying to understand everything and king Williams couldn't help smiling.

" Well that's because it's a special kind of key". He answered and he thinks that did it for her.

" My king". Turning he found Adam. " The queen is looking for you". Hah Ana.

" Hazel let's go". Talking his attention back to hazel he found her reaching out for the key. " Hazel don't". That's all he could say before the lights became blinding

"Your Majesty?". Henry called snapping him out of his thoughts.

" Do you know what this thing is?". Henry asked.

" Yes and I think I know what they need it for".

" You do?". Staring at his curious face , king Williams suddenly wanted to doubt his next step, and then he remembered his trusting him with his daughter.

" Follow me". He said getting up

Walking down the secret passage, while Henry walked behind, wanting to ask lots and lots of questions, taking the last step, staring at the blank wall He motioned for Adam to get it open, Adam waves his hand and the blank wall became jelly, and walked right through the wall and Henry followed surprise evident in his face and the key blinding light welcomed us .

" Am guessing this is going to be trouble". Henry said making king Williams chuckle.

" This thing is a key son, and it has been passed down to many kings, and then my grandfather and my dad, then me".

" So this key, the demons getting hold of it would be bad news?". Henry ask and king Williams nods.

" Legend has it this was the only item the goddess left before dieing, we believe this key could unlock something dangerous and powerful, from how the demons tracked it too here, they need it for something dangerous and it's going to be bad, bad, bad news".

" Then we can't let them get their hands on it". And that's the ruthless man, king Williams likes. " We shouldn't, but the demons don't ask for stuffs they take it and that's something I fear". He whispered staring at the key.

" Well we have to do something".

" Well for now we don't, we just wait it out".

" Wait it out?". Henry ask confused.

" Yes we do". King Williams said taking his attention back to the key.

Watching hazel dancing, is really a beautiful sight, she danced peacefully and beautiful, just like she is.

" Dad". Hazel called, smiling she walked over, He didn't even notice it was over.

" How was it". She ask. " Well let's just say lord Henry's going to love it". He said taking hold of her perfect nose making them both laugh.

"Where's mom?". She asked.

" Looking for me?". Ana popped out looking beautiful as ever, her beauty gets everyone every time.

" Dad stop drooling over mom, aren't you too old for that".

" Haha very funny ". Laughing he pulled Ana, kissing her while hazel dramatically close her eyes, she was something.

" My king am married, happily married".

" And whose the lucky bastard?'. He playfully asked leaving kisses all over her face. " You guys still realize am here right". Laughing, he stopped kissing her".

" My king?". Adam called, what now?.

" You girls have fun, not too much fun ". He joked kissing them both before walking away with Adam.

" What?". He asked. " My king it's the demons". Really?, turning around he found ana and hazel talking, not paying attention to him or Adam, the innocent and peaceful smile on their faces.

" Girls". He called making them turn to him ." Am sorry but I have to run, I'll see you guys at dinner". Walking towards them he places kisses on both their foreheads, before leaving with Adam.

As a king there was so much on his shoulders and little he could do and sometimes being a king felt like a curse,sometimes he wished he was just a free average man, than seat on a hot throne and a heavy crown on his head,the only thing keeping him sane was the love of his wife and daughter , they where his world he couldn't imagine life without them.

The minute they got into his office, Adam gave him a letter ,and it was from the demons,which contained words of them asking him to hand over the key within a day, and they would spare his kingdom, his people, or they would kill every single soul and make him watch, and still get hold of the key. Hell.

How did they find out I had the key?. That was fast, too fast.

" Fucking hell".he yelled

"How is this even possible ". His voice roared across the room.

"That I don't know your majesty, but I believe we have a spie among us".

"A spie?" He asked and Adam just nodded,Well that makes sense, but who?, up until now it's just him and Adam who knew about the key existence.

"Your majesty what are your orders". King Williams didn't even know what to do, fighting against them was like a death mission, handing over the key was even worse, stuck.

"What do you think we do Adam?". He asked hoping he could find away out of this.

"I don't know your majesty". Adam answered looking down at his feet like he was ashamed.

"Give my orders, we gaurd that key with our life, in and out".

"Your majesty!". He knew he sounded stupid but what could he do now, he needed time to think of something.

"Go Adam, and get me lord Henry". King Williams ordered, Adam looked at him begging him with his eyes to rethink, but that was all king Williams could do now that his hands where tied.

Adam left, and he just paced around , till lord Henry walked in.

" Your majesty?".

" Get ready, things are about to get bloody".

" What do you mean?".

"I mean we are in big trouble son".
