Chapter 32 :Celestial Elixir
When they were plucking the leaves and the leaves changed color, John was also shocked. He couldn't comprehend this strange phenomenon. He quickly changed his shocked expression without showing it to anyone. After a while, when the leaves' color changed again, John became even more astonished. He couldn't understand the reason behind it, so he started asking Info to figure out why this was happening.
"Info, how did the leaves' color change from green to silver to gold?"
[Because, Host, when the leaves were connected to their origin, Nature Energy continuously flowed through them. When the leaves are separated from their origin, the link to Nature Energy is broken. The stored Nature Energy in the leaves then changes their color from green to silver. When the fully silver leaves are gathered and made into a paste, the strong Nature Energy inside them turns the paste golden.]
"Hmm, so the color change is due to Nature Energy. Last night, you mentioned that Shadowheart Willow absorbs Nature Energy, so what does it do during the day?" John asked. After hearing Info's explanation, he understood the mystery behind the color change but had another doubt—what does it absorb during the day?
[Host, at night, it stores Nature Energy in its heart and strengthens its leaves with it. During the day, it transfers the stored Nature Energy from its leaves throughout its entire body. Because of this process, it is immortal and cannot die unless someone absorbs it.]
"What... This tree is immortal, and it can be absorbed?" John stood still, paralyzed by shock as revelation after revelation hit him.

"Then why haven't they found this tree yet, which is so big and in such an open place?" John began to understand why no one had found this tree for so many years.

"So if they can't find it, how did Uncle Victor and I get past this layer and reach here?" John realized that finding this tree was almost impossible, yet they had found it.
[Host, you misunderstand. You stumbled upon this place by accident, not the tree itself. This protective layer doesn't affect those without Circle Power, as it senses no threat from you. You're lucky that it hasn't awakened yet; otherwise, it would have absorbed your life force with its energy.]
"Holy f*ck... So if it wakes up, we won't survive?" John started panicking in shock.
[Host, you'll become powerful before it awakens.] Info calculated how long it would take for John to become powerful.
"How do you know that, Info? Can you see the future?" John asked with doubt, as Info's voice sounded confident, as if it had seen John's future.
[Something like that, Host.]
John didn't say anything and fell silent, lost for words. After recovering from the shock, he approached the golden-colored paste without asking Info. Holding it in his hand, he asked, "Can I see the information about this paste?"
Earlier, when John tried to learn about the tree, he was told he wasn't qualified. Unsure if the same would apply to the paste, he hesitantly asked Info.
[Of course, Host, you can see it.]
"Really? But earlier, I needed to be qualified to learn about the tree. How am I now qualified to learn about this paste?" John asked to clear his doubt.

Hearing Info's explanation, John understood and looked at the golden paste in his hand and said ,

When John examined the golden pest, he was so shocked that he shouted out loud, and everyone heard him.
"What happened, John?" Uncle Tom asked as he approached, concerned about John's sudden outburst.
"Ahh... Damn, I guess I yelled out in shock," John cursed to himself and then turned to Uncle Tom.
"Uncle Tom, I was just excited about the pest being ready in time," John explained.
"So, what do we do now, John?" Derek asked after hearing John's explanation.
"We'll apply this pest to everyone's bodies," John said and started gathering the pest.
Following John's lead, everyone collected the golden pest in five large plates and began heading inside. No one but John understood what they were doing or what difference it would make; they just listened to him.
When they entered the room within the storage hut, they saw Clara and Leo sitting on the floor with tears in their eyes, as if they'd been crying all night while repeatedly calling out Victor's name.
John signaled Brody and Blake to take Clara and Leo outside. Understanding John's gesture, they led the two outside, saying their treatment was in progress, and Clara and Leo quietly complied.
Once they were outside, John instructed Uncle Tom, Derek, and Dylan, "Take off Victor's clothes. We're going to apply this pest to his body now."
Without a word, they removed Victor's clothes, leaving only his underwear on, and John knelt down, beginning to apply the glowing golden pest with his hands.
"Uncle Tom, do you think Brother-in-law will get better?" Derek asked Uncle Tom as John applied the pest.
"I'm not sure, Derek. I'm just praying that this works," Uncle Tom replied, uncertain but trusting John's confident demeanor.
As John applied the golden pest, he could feel its energy, making his own fatigue disappear.
"This is amazing. Once this is done, I'll suggest everyone apply this pest. Maybe it'll bring about some changes, and I'm curious to see what changes it will bring about in me," John thought excitedly.
After a while, John had applied the pest to Victor's entire body. He stood up and instructed Derek and Dylan, "You two go to the other room and apply the pest to the others just like I did, okay?"
"Got it," they replied in unison and left with the pest.
"So, John, how long until Victor recovers?" Uncle Tom asked, looking at John.
"Uncle Tom, I think we'll see the effects by this evening," John replied, then went into the storage room where the potatoes were kept and sat down on a stool.
"That soon? Are you sure you're not exaggerating, John?" Uncle Tom followed him into the storage room, shocked and struggling to believe that such a serious wound could heal by evening.
John looked at Uncle Tom silently and thought to himself, "Until they learn about Power Circles and the true nature of this world, they'll keep doubting like this. I should explain everything to them as soon as possible."
Uncle Tom understood John's resolve and, without saying anything further, sat quietly beside him. After some time, Derek and Dylan returned after applying the pest to the other four. When they saw John and Uncle Tom sitting, they joined them.
"Did you notice any difference while applying the pest?" John asked, assuming that they might have felt their fatigue vanish and wanting to confirm his suspicion.
"Yes, leader. While I was applying the pest, I felt something strange, like all my fatigue disappeared, and I felt completely refreshed and energized," Derek replied, still in shock. Dylan nodded in agreement and added, "Yes, leader, I felt the same way as Brother Derek."
Their responses confirmed John's theory, and he decided that everyone should start using the pest from now on. He looked at the two brothers and said, "Go outside and prepare more of the pest. We'll all start using it from today."
Hearing John's words, both brothers stood up and went outside. Uncle Tom, however, felt a bit puzzled by John's plan.
"Why should we apply the pest to our bodies when we're already healthy, John?" Uncle Tom asked, confused.
"You'll understand once you try it yourself, Uncle Tom," John replied.
John, while responding to Uncle Tom, noticed the potatoes lying on the ground in the room. He picked one up and examined it closely. "Hmm... how did the color of this potato change?" he wondered aloud.
Seeing John holding the potato, Uncle Tom asked, "John, what kind of potato is that? It's glowing with a light golden color."
