CHAPTER 3

They entered a room with beautiful scenery of the night view in the city,Ryan was delighted.

He couldn't even remember the last time he was in a gathering like this,as Noah didn't like him mingling with others.

They were 6 guests in the room already,Ryan knew only Reece and Rebecca because they were in the same university and they graduated last year.

"Ryan this is Toby, Daniel,Ken and Leon and guys this is Ryan" Tay introduced them.

They all greeted themselves

Leon couldn't help but look at Ryan,Ryan is extremely good looking,he has a baby's face and soft small pink lips,his hair was tied in a half ponytail with few hairs dangling in front.He was indeed beautiful.

"Where are you from Ryan?" Leon asked

He was the closest to Ryan while Kelvin sat in front of him,there was an empty sit beside Tay at the end of the table.

"Oh ... I'm from Busan" Ryan said shyly

Ryan isn't really good with strangers,you can say he's socially awkward,he doesn't talk much either.

"Half Korean half American right?" Leon asked.

"Yeah" He looks at Leon "what about you?"

"I'm from Thailand,I moved here when I was 5".

"You've been here ever since?" Ryan asked.

"Not really,I do travel to Thailand at times,I just returned recently "

"Oh okay" He smiled and looked up at Kelvin and his boyfriend being all lovey with each other .

Leon didn't want the conversation to end "Are you still in university?"

Ryan looks at him " no,I graduated last year"

Kelvin opens a bottle of wine and pours in a glass for Ryan

"Here Ryan" He looks at him and gave him a wink,then he mouthed "LOVE"

Ryan gave him a side eye and accepted the wine,he drinks it and poured another glass.

The door opens and a tall majestic looking man enters inside,he was wearing normal clothes with sneakers, holding his car keys in his hand while his other hand was inside his pocket

"Here comes the king" Everyone laughs

Except for Ryan,when he raised his head to check who came in,he was dumbfounded.

He never knew someone this beautiful exists,he heart raced heavily he couldn't help but keep staring at him till the man sat down.

"I thought you wouldn't show up"Leon said.

"Tay threatened me" Alec said

"If he hadn't showed up,I would have gone to his house and taken his Rolls Royce keys"

Ryan couldn't help but steal a few glances of Alex,the bickering between the 6 friends kept going on and on.

"Hey Ryan"

Ryan saw Reece looking at him "oh ..hi".

"It's been a while"

"Yeah it has,you look so different I almost didn't recognize you "Ryan said truthfully

Reece got very shy,she couldn't help but tuck her head behind her ears "you've gotten more handsome yourself "

"Thank you"Ryan smiled.

Ryan kept drinking, without eating anything.He was trying to forget about Noah for now and enjoy his time outside.

He knew Noah's gonna be pissed if he was drunk but he couldn't help but want to make Noah angry.At least then Noah's eyes will be on him alone.

Kelvin saw that Ryan kept on drinking,he couldn't help but hold Ryan's hand from taking the wine bottle,he spoke softly

" you've been acting weirdly since I saw you today, what's going on?"

He looked at Ryan

Ryan's eyes turned red, but he shook his head and said "I've just been tired,I'm okay ."

Kelvin knew Ryan,they practically grew up together,he knew he liked keeping things to himself,but he has never seen Ryan like this before.

He stood up and held Ryan's hand,they both went to the balcony on the room to receive the fresh air.

Leon asked Tay " is that your boyfriend's friend?"

"Yeah,they are childhood friends."Tay replied."why are you asking?, don't tell me you're interested in him, he's not single." Tay added.

Alec turned and looked at Ryan and Kelvin through the glass door.

"Hey... don't kill my vibe like that.....but I guess a good looking guy like that won't be single" Leon said.

Daniel laughed " Exactly"

Outside, Kelvin looked Ryan in the eyes and said " you know I don't ask about your relationship with Noah because I never liked him,but if he hurts you and you're hiding it from me....I'm gonna go to your house and kill him"

Ryan signed " He didn't hurt me,we haven't just had time for each other lately that's why.".

"Are you sure?"kelvin asked.

"Yeah I am, don't worry about me.If anything happens,I promise you'll be the first person I'll tell"

"Promise?"kelvin said.

"I promise"Ryan replied.

They both stayed there for a while then returned back to the room,they all gisted and drink.

Ryan started feeling pains in his belly,he broke out in cold sweat.

That was when he remembered that he hasn't eaten since yesterday and he drank on an empty stomach.

Right now,he's so drunk that he can't stand on his own.

While laughing with him friends,Alec looked at Ryan,and saw that he was very pale and his face was twisted.

He then looked at his friends only for him to realize that he is the only one with high alcohol tolerance.

He was starting thinking of what to do.
