Honeymoon began

Amy entered the suite and couldn't find Ragnar. Her heart beat fast as she searched everywhere for him.

Finally, Ragnar stepped out of the bathroom, with a towel around his waist.

Amy froze, she saw his six packs and his clean broad chest, her spit became hard to swallow as she stared at Ragnar's hot body.

"Oh my goodness, he is so handsome, she thought.

"Why are you just standing there like a statue? Ragnar asked bluntly, pretending not to notice her admiration.

Amy swallowed hard, "I am sorry, I was carried away, can you please put on a shirt, there's something I need to talk to you about.

Ragnar smirked and put on a shirt, "Satisfied now?

Amy nodded, "I think I messed up.

Ragnar became curious, "What have you done this time?

"Dan set up a meeting with an investor I was supposed to speak to. The investor turns out to be your half-sister… she paused to observe Ragnar's expression. 

What! Regnar exclaimed angrily.

"I am sorry, honestly I had no idea I was meeting with your sister.

"Hold on, first you went to meet with your ex-boyfriend without letting me know. Secondly, You met my sister.

Amy quickly shook her head. No… I escaped before the meeting began.

Ragnar was both relieved and disappointed. You are lucky not to have met my sister, but I am just curious. Why did you agree with such an arrangement? After everything your ex-boyfriend made you go through.

Amy could not respond.

"Well, instead of speaking to an investor on his behalf, why don't you just invest in the business yourself and own seventy percent of the assets of the boutique?

"No, I don't think that's a good idea, Dan is so cunny, we both built the boutique to where it is today, and he just kicked me out. Amy protested.

"That was because there was no proper documentation. This time, you should involve a legal practitioner.

Amy widened her eyes, she agreed with Ragnar. That was a brilliant idea, Amy said happily. 

Send me your account details? Regnar said.

Amy's ear was straightened, she pretended not to be moved and forwarded her account details to Ragnar.

Within a twinkle of an eye, an alert entered her phone.

Wow! She exclaimed, thank you very much Mr Ragnar. She was so happy that she jumped up.

Ragnar smiled. "I kept my promise.

"You know what, I think I will follow your advice, but I have a plan.

Ragnar smiled slightly, he admired her courage.

Amy took out her phone and dialed Dan's number.

"How dare you, Amy! How dare you trick me like that, you just disappeared without a trace. I shouldn't have trusted you! Dan snapped over the phone.

Amy could notice the frustration in his voice. I can see you are frustrated. Were you able to convince her? Amy asked sarcastically. 

"Of course not, her representative insisted on speaking to you. Amy, you should know better. My next call will be on the phone with your husband, trust me, and I believe you don't want that.

Amy rolled her eyes, "Well, I have a better deal for you, an investor that might just be interested in investing in the boutique. 

Dan chuckled "Really, you expected me to trust you after pulling that stunt today.

"Dan, I will set up a meeting with the investor, trust me. This is an opportunity you don't want to miss.

Amy said and hung up and sighed. 

Not sure of what game Amy was playing, Ragnar smiled, "Any plan you have in mind would have to wait till after the honeymoon. He said and Amy nodded.

Meanwhile at Dan's house, Katherine was extremely angry at Dan.

"I can't believe you could not get Amy to speak to Mrs Clark's representative, but she deceived us, that scumbag tricked us, so unbelievable. 

"Kath, you need to calm down. She offered a better deal . 

"What better deal? Katherine snapped.

"She said something about introducing us to a new investor.

Katherine chuckled, "And you believed her?

"Of course. 

This is so unbelievable. I can't believe you believed Amy, she is just a liar and a cheat.

"Kath, we do not have much of a choice here, we need funds to keep running the boutique, we don't have enough, thanks to your expensive shoes and bags, but we need to give this offer a second thought.

"OK fine, but if this doesn't work out I will be forced to do things my own way. Katherine threatened and walked away.

In the suite, an expensive wine was brought to the room.

Amy was surprised, "I am just curious, what is this meant for?

Ragnar smiled as he opened the wine, "To celebrate our new beginning. 

Amy chuckled, "It's just a contract.

"Does it matter? Look, you don't need to keep reminding me. I know it's a contract and I intend to keep it that way, but we both have to enjoy it while it lasts.

"Sure. Amy said, clapping her hands together excitedly.

Ragnar poured the wine inside the two wine glasses and handed one over to Amy.

"Wow! He is so romantic" she thought as she zipped her wine.

"So, how long is this going to last? Amy asked.

Ragnar thought for a minute before answering, "for as long as we are both honest with each other, no funny games, and we both keep to our part of the deal.

Amy smiled, "Cheers to a new beginning"

As they drank, Ragnar became curious, "I don't mean to prey, but, Is there something I need to know about you?

The question startled Amy that she almost soothed the wine in her mouth.

"Not at all.

"Are you sure?

"Yes, on the contrary, Ragnar, I think you are the one hiding something.

Ragnar widened his eyes, "Why do you think so? 

"The box, I mean I saw the way you flared up because I touched it. What's inside? And what's so special about it?

Ragnar smiled, "Well, it's personal, but if you care to know, it reminds me of someone special.

Amy saw the love and admiration on Ragnar's face as he spoke, "Care to share?

Ragnar shook his head, "No, I am not ready to talk about it, let's just have fun.

"I think he is in love with a special person, his expression says it all, "Amy thought as she enjoyed the rest of the moment.

Later that evening, Amy had her shower and put on a beautiful sleeveless top that revealed her back, coupled with shorts that revealed her laps.

As she walked out of the dressing room, Ragnar could not help but admire her beauty.

"She looks beautiful, he thought, but wasn't attracted to her.

He quickly looked away as Amy approached his table and focused on the paperwork in front of him.

Amy stopped in front of his table. She saw the box and some paperwork. She didn't really know much about his line of business, but she knew he was busy with work.

She cleared her throat before saying, "I thought we were meant to be together and not get distracted with work.

"I apologize, remember you also forgot and went out this morning.

"So, is this a payback or something?

"Far from it, just give me a few minutes, I will join you.

Amy nodded, "I will just go watch my favorite show, it's starting soon.

Amy said as she walked to the couch near the big smart TV in the suite. She picked up the check and switched on the TV.

She had watched the show half way when Ragnar joined her.

"Is it a fashion show? He asked and Amy nodded.

"Yes, it is, I have a dream of opening a big boutique, a fashion house, having models work for me and most of all, organizing different fashion shows.

Ragnar smiled, "You are ambitious, I like that, so do you think watching a live show would help?"

Amy nodded, "Yes, I mean not a hundred percent but to some extent. 

Amy and Ragnar found themselves sitting together on the same couch. Although there was a little space between them, they had never been that close to each other.

Amy felt awkward, she felt tense, she quickly thought of a conversation she could bring up to ease the tension.

"How's your hand? I mean the injury.

Ragnar pretended not to notice the tension in her voice, "Better now, thanks to my beautiful nurse, he teased.

"Did he just call me beautiful? She thought. 

"You think I am beautiful? Amy asked.

Ragnar laughed from the side of his mouth, "Of course you are. If you weren't beautiful, I wouldn't have considered you for the contract.

Amy blushed as they continued watching the show.

Ragnar had just started enjoying the show when he felt a weight on his shoulder.
