CHAPTER 10: MONA

CHAPTER 10: MONA

(MONA P•O•V)

I was able to escape from the crowd, but while I was at it. I had to make sure one of my brothers warriors saw me, to set my plan into motion. Me sneaking out of the crowd and coming to the last place where anyone will think to find me.

"The quiet one hut"

It is okay the hut is really tidy at least far cleaner than mine. But it was also quiet and it felt somewhat lonely, no noise just sounds of wind blowing from the outside. It was no doubt boring as my surrounding slowed down,

But I've had my curiosity on the quiet one, what was his name again.

"Arjooo,.....Arjur.......Arjodoo"

"Well it doesn't matter"

I began to go through his things without the owners consent, can blame me im bored out of my mind.

I found a roughly made wooden box at the far corner of the hut.

I raised it up and stared at it.

"What is this"

It was, no it looked wierd with no space. I rolled it on the ground like a ball, but it couldn't roll.

"I just can't understand the major purpose of this wierd thing"

I opened my mouth and bit into into it, it was hard and tasteless. My teeth hurt,

I am frustrated by this thing as dragged and pulled on this thing trying to tear it apart, but couldn't.

I was breathing fast as I struggled with it, but still couldn't break through it.

I can feel my frustration slowly turning into anger, I threw it hard on the ground out of frustration and surprisingly a part of it fell out and it opened.

"For him to be able create something this hard to open he must be keeping something super important"

My excitement died as moved closer to it, seeing a plain thin wood in it. Looking closer i can clearly see some writing no, drawing of somesort on the woods.

"What is this"

I picked them up and began to scroll through them, it turns out they were not boring pieces of wood. The drawing were weapons, bows, arrows, spares in it. The inscription on them were just the ingredients and material needed to make them, but it doesn't explain how.

"Arrow" I read,

"Wood, tree goo(sap), Sharpened stones with smooth buttom , swamp vines, feathers and wooden pieces(shafts)"

"Hmm"

"The only thing I literally understood was wood, tree, stone and feather" I said,

"What a really weird guy"

I moved to the next thin wood and next I saw drawing of spare and this time it still didn't involve how to make it.

"Spare" I read,

"Wood and sharpened stone"

That was all,

"Hmm" I hummed,

"This one was easier" I said moving to the next wooden tablet,

"Bow" I read,

"A........"

My words were cut short by the amount of things inscribed on the wood, the writings were too much making making my eyes dizzy and my head to hurt. I threw it far from me and it struck the ground causing a large crashing sound.

*SIGH*

I sigh, my headache slowly began to fade.

I kept going through all the other thin wood, seeing things I could not understand, one resembled a long straight knife.(A sword)

Moving to the next, I see a rectangular straight.........to be honest I don't know what it looks like at all, but I know its straight and with some kind of handle behind it.(A shield)

Moving to the next once again, I see a wooden long stick with some kind of.......once again im stunned by this particular drawing. At the top side, it resembles some kind of spare but its one blade bends backwards.(Bladed staff) and so much more, including trap and so on.

"Where does he get the ideas for these stupid things"

She said and throwing of all of it up Into the air and they all landed on the ground making loud crashing sounds.

Just then she caught sight of something at the other edge of the hut, she bent forward and reached out for it. Before he could grab it, I caught a little of glimpse of the drawing and inscription on it,

They sorta resembled,

"Plans"

Then I heard a sound coming from outside the hut,

"Oh no"

I scramble in confusion, figuring out what to do as I picked up all the inscribed tablet and arranged them the exact way I found them. Well not really the exact way but whose going to notice.

But something about the last tablet attracted my attention, they were like drawn down plans.

"What are you planning Ardreud"

I said as I let my curiosity take the best of me, I leaned forward and reached out to it. I held unto the tablet and just as I was about to go through it.

My curiosity ended as I was immediately frightened by a figure which drew the curtains of the hut open. The tablet fell from my hand as I shifted my gaze to the figure. My gaze was fixed on the figure, he didn't have features like me or the rest of us in the village. His so wierd and doesn't even have a tail like the rest of us and spent his time alone. It was no other than Arjurd,

"The quiet one"
