When it Rains

The next day, a little after lunchtime had passed, Mr. Whorl entered the snack house with Anton and a servant.

Lunchtime is not a busy hour for them so Theron immediately saw the visitors.

"Hello, Mr. Whorl. Please come in. Let's go upstairs."

The visitors were led to the private room upstairs.

"Please sit. We'll have a few snacks in a while. Our treat today. And Anton, how are you?"

"I'm great, thanks to you, when blessings rain on you, I always get drizzled on. Mr. Whorl has never forgotten about me." Anton is very humble.

"Anton, here has been promoted. But not only because he is your friend, but because he worked hard. You deserve this." Mr. Whorl patted Anton's shoulder.

"Yes, Sir. Thank you." He looked at Theron and straightforwardly asked, "How about you? How's married life?"

"Fulfilling in all aspects." He smiled and unconsciously touched his wedding ring.

"Ugh, why did I ask?" He said, pretending to be disgusted.
