Clash between two force

Mo Chuang was about to leave and suddenly he felt intense energy coming from his behind. Just when he was about to turn he suddenly got knocked back by a powerful force.

Mo Chuang felt like he is facing a worthy opponent in this life for the first time. Mo Chuang when he raised his head saw none other than Xue Ying but not the same Xue Ying he knew a moment ago. This new Xue Ying had such a irresistible force inside her body and her body was emitting such a powerful energy which causes Mo Chuang to almost suffocate till death.

Mo Chuang then noticed that Xue Ying was not simple as she possessed a physique that was once held by one of the strongest boundary warden also known as "void devourer". The physique she had was "void mirage" physique.

Void devourer was known for his profound mastery in void and even became an honorary elder of boundary wardens. Mo Chuang knew little about this physique because Mo Chuang somehow didn't...liked void. He felt that void which was nothing but darkness was just not interesting. This was the reason why Mo Chuang didn't had much proficiency in using void dao.

Mo Chuang surely knew one thing though. This physique can help him. Anyone possessing void related physique was able to perform teleportation through void pretty easily.

Mo Yu, Ling Shuo, Lin Hao, Lei Yun and other elders of Mo clan rushed towards the place from where the terrifying energy wad coming from. When they saw Mo Chuang being a little injured they tried to rush towards Mo Chuang but to their surprise whenever they were running towards Mo Chuang they were sent to the place they originally started from.

This was because Xue Ying or the void mirage physique's consciousness which is controlling Xue Ying currently used it's profound knowledge on void and space dao to crate a void barrier where no one could step in without her permission.

Noticing all this Mo Chuang remained silent as he stood. As he was about to take out a pill Xue Ying created a void spear and threw it at the pill. Just as the spear forged from the essence of the void hurtled towards the pill Mo Chuang was about to consume, a chilling energy enveloped the air, plunging the surroundings into an unnatural cold that felt capable of freezing time itself. In an instant, the void spear, once brimming with malice, halted mid-flight, encased in a crystalline layer of frost, rendered completely immobile.

Mo Chuang then consumed the pill and took out his sword which he had bought from system when he was returning. "Eternal blade" was the name of the sword and Mo Chuang didn't really cared about the description so he ignored it but he could tell that this sword is something that was simply not even usable by him even in his peak cultivation in previous life.

Seeing this Mo Yu sighed and stopped everyone trying to enter the barrier. Ling Shuo seeing this couldn't help but feel amazed because he himself was not even a match for the void devourer and seeing Mo Chuang fighting someone with the same physique as the void devourer made him envy Mo Chuang but also fear because he knew about the void mirage physique.

The icy win howled through the canyon as Mo Chuang stood still. His every single breath freezing everything beside him. Across from him, Xue Ying's surrounding was filled with spatial cracks and void was coming from the cracks. While Mo Chuang was holding his eternal blade in his right hand, Xue Ying was holding spear created solely from void.

Slowly they started to walk towards each other and slowly they ran and Mo Chuang's sword clashes with Xue Ying's spear. Even though Mo Chuang's sword was exceptionally good but because of limitations of current Mo Chuang he couldn't use 100% or it's power but he was still shocked because even if he could not use full power it's one strike could destroy an emperor grade artifact into pieces.

That means the spear which Xue Ying was holding currently was more powerful than an emperor grade artifact and what more it was fully formed from void without any modifications.

Their clash was like two unstoppable force clashing with each other. Xue Ying who is exhibiting void energy which could devour anything that comes in it's way is clashing with Mo Chuang's ice which can freeze even time.
