I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the news flash on the screen.

How could she possibly be married to Miles Williams? It didn't make any sense to me at all.

I paced back and forth across the living room, my fingers pressing repeatedly on her number, but each time, it went unanswered.

"Pick up, you lying bitch," I muttered under my breath, frustration rising in my chest.

Once again, the call went to voicemail. I was fuming, struggling to control my anger when suddenly, I heard a loud noise coming from outside.

Without thinking, I tossed my phone onto the sofa with an angry scoff and stormed toward the door.

As soon as I opened it, I saw Adan, trying to force his way past the security guards.

"What the hell do you want, you bastard?" I demanded. I had stopped seeing him as my brother the moment he tried to threaten my father into handing over my position.
