Chapter 380: The Vampires in the Scarlet Devil Mansion

"This... where have I fallen again?"

Alexander stared blankly at the scene before him, realizing that he had somehow arrived in a strange basement.

And the basement was sealed off? Damn it. I'd just arrived, and I'm already locked up.

Alexander sighed deeply. Although he felt frustrated, there was nothing he could do.

What were his options? Either teleport out or call for someone to open the door. Beyond those, what else could he possibly do?

"Huh? Who are you? How did you end up here?"

At that moment, a sweet voice rang in his ears. Hearing it, Alexander turned his head slowly. A figure stood nearby, staring at him with wide eyes.

As soon as he saw her, Alexander froze.

"Huh? Second Miss?"

"Second Miss? Do you know me? Are you from the mansion too? Why haven't I seen you before in Room 297?"

The small girl—practically a little loli—tilted her head curiously. Her innocent tone left Alexander feeling at a loss.

"Well... I'm new here. It's normal that you don't know me."

"Oh." Little Fran nodded, then reached out with a tiny finger and poked Alexander's side, her face showing an odd expression.

"Are you... human?"

"Yes."

"Then... will you play with me?" Fran's eyes lit up with excitement. She loved playing games more than anything!

But watching the eager look on Fran's face, Alexander felt a chill run down his spine. He knew all too well what she meant by 'playing'.

To Fran, "play" meant using people as living targets, then crushing them with her fists.

'Just imagining the scene made Alexander shudder.

'Am I crazy?' Play with this little loli?

Quickly, Alexander shook his head and said, "Fran, your game doesn't sound like fun. How about this? You call me big brother, and I'll show you a different game. How's that?"

"Hmph! That's not true! Fran's game is super fun!" Fran pouted. Her favorite game was being dismissed, and she couldn't stand it!

'Whoosh!'

In an instant, a strange glint appeared in her eyes. From Fran's perspective, countless "eyes" suddenly appeared all over Alexander's body.

"Damn! She's serious!"

Alexander was stunned for a moment. In the next second, he manipulated time and space, vanishing from Little Fran's sight in an instant. His mastery over time control was exceptional. By the time Fran reacted, she realized her vision was blocked by something.

"Huh? Big brother! What's wrong with my eyes? How can Fran play when her eyes are covered?"

Fran pouted, ready to use her unique ability to destroy whatever was obstructing her. But just as she was about to act, Alexander gently covered her eyes with his hands.

"Little Fran, don't be so impatient. Let's play a game, shall we?"

"What game?" Fran asked curiously. Perhaps because she had been locked away for so long, the idea of having company made her excited.

Alexander, aware of her loneliness, leaned in close and whispered softly in her ear.

"Let's play ghost catcher, okay? But you can't take off the blindfold. If you catch me, you win."

"Huh? This game sounds so easy. Are you sure it's fun?"

Fran couldn't help but ask skeptically.

"Of course, it'll be lots of fun," Alexander assured her.

After finishing his explanation, he released Fran and instructed her to start counting down. Meanwhile, Alexander floated silently into the air, thinking to himself, 'Play? Sure... but there's no way I'll let her catch me.'

On the other side of the mansion, a small, cute loli tilted her head in confusion, staring at the figure before her. Opposite her stood Sakuya, visibly tense.

"Miss, why are you looking at me like that?" Sakuya asked, perplexed. She had only shared her experience, yet Remilia's gaze felt strange.

Seeing Sakuya's nervousness, Remilia sighed deeply.

"Sakuya, do you think I'm as foolish as a little devil? It's fine to trick simple-minded demons with pranks like that, but me? You can't fool someone as clever as I am."

Remilia puffed out her chest proudly—small but a product of centuries. She was clearly proud of her "wisdom and strength."

However...

"Miss! Are you saying I'm lying?"
