Chapter 535: Battle of the Sisters

Arubi Island, once a bustling tourist destination, now stood eerily quiet. Known for its stunning scenery and sunny skies, it should have been crowded with visitors. However, it had recently become deserted.
The reason was simple: a massive storm had engulfed the area. This tempest, with its violent winds and towering waves, was enough to drive away anyone who dared to approach.
At the center of the chaos were two beings responsible for this destruction—Yamai Kaguya and Yamai Yuzuru, identical twins collectively referred to as the Berserkers.
The Yamai sisters shared one Spirit, which presented a cruel reality: only one of them could remain in this world. The other would inevitably vanish. This harsh truth led to daily battles between the two, as each sought to let the other live.
Yet, no matter how fierce their duels, their strength was perfectly matched. Victory always remained out of reach.
'Crack!'
Lightning bolts clashed in midair, their violent collisions darkening the already stormy skies. The storm intensified, and soon heavy rain poured down, drenching everything below.
After more than a dozen exchanges, two figures emerged from the storm clouds, their orange hair whipping in the wind. They glared at each other, both drenched yet undeterred.
"Not bad, Yuzuru," Kaguya said, smirking. "You really are worthy of being my other half. But… this ends here!"
"Rebuttal: this ninety-ninth battle will be won by Yuzuru, not Kaguya," Yuzuru countered, her voice cold and firm.
"Hah! You clearly don't understand the situation. Let me show you who's truly worthy of inheriting the name 'Yamai!'"
With that declaration, Kaguya unleashed a ferocious storm, the winds howling as they spiraled around her.
Yuzuru, unfazed, activated her angelic power:
Hurricane Knight (Raphael) — Binder (El Nahash).
'Boom!'
A glowing chain materialized, propelled forward by a powerful gust of wind. It shot toward Kaguya, twisting and curling through the storm. Yuzuru wielded El Nahash as a whip-like chain, its sharp, glowing links cutting through the air.
"Futile, Yuzuru! Your attacks are meaningless against me!"
Kaguya raised her arm, and a massive lance materialized out of thin air.
Raphael — El Re'em.
Originally, Angel: Raphael (the Hurricane Knight)'s power was that of a bow and arrow. But in Kaguya's hands, it had transformed into a devastating spear.
With a single swing, the chain was deflected, its trajectory thrown off course. Yet, the chain twisted and spun in midair, looping back toward Kaguya like a serpent poised to strike.
"HAA!" Kaguya shouted as she charged forward, spear in hand. Their clash continued, the ferocity of their battle tearing apart everything around them.
"Prepare yourself, Yuzuru! This is my ultimate move!"
"Rebuttal: Yuzuru will also unleash her strongest attack to counter Kaguya."
The two sisters poured every ounce of their power into their next moves. Their auras flared, signaling that the battle was about to reach its climax—a clash capable of obliterating the entire area.
Just as the decisive moment approached, a voice cut through the storm.
"Are you two the reason this place is being destroyed?"
The voice was calm yet commanding. Both sisters paused, their gazes snapping upward. Above them, a figure descended from the stormy skies.
Kaguya glared at the intruder, her annoyance evident. "Who are you? How dare you meddle in our fight!"
Yuzuru nodded in agreement, her expression equally displeased. "Affirmation: the battle between Kaguya and Yuzuru must not be interrupted."
Alexander, standing calmly amidst the storm, sighed helplessly.
"There's no need for you two to keep fighting," he said, his tone unyielding. "Because today, you're both going to die. The so-called 'name of Yamai' won't mean anything anymore."
Kaguya's eyes narrowed. "What did you just say?!"
