Chapter 21: Rising Forces

"Saintess, you are so generous. What will our forces be called?" Pei Wu Chen asked.

"The Pavilion of pills and rare treasures will be named Eternal Fortune Hall, and the force of warriors and intelligence officers will be known as Phoenix Enforcers," Huang Nian replied with determination.

"That's a wise choice, Saintess. There's a room within your palace where you can cultivate using an abundance of Qi energy. When you reach the supreme level, your palace will become even stronger," Pei Wu Chen informed her.

"Lead me to the cultivation room," Huang Nian ordered.

Pei Wu Chen guided her to the room, where Huang Nian settled on a mat, beginning to circulate the Qi energy within her. As she absorbed the rich energy in the room, her cultivation progressed rapidly, advancing from Martial General Peak Stage to Martial King Late Stage with ease.

When she finally opened her eyes, her soul returned to her body.

"Master, you're back," Little White's thought echoed in her mind.

"How did you know?" Huang Nian asked, slightly amused.

"Master, I sensed it when you entered your Inner World," Little White responded.

"You know too much," Huang Nian teased.

"Master, please don't punish me," Little White pleaded.

"Why would I punish you? I'm glad you're smart. You'll be very useful to me in the future," Huang Nian said, gently touching Little White's nose.

"Master, will you take me with you next time you go?" the cat asked eagerly.

"Of course, I will," Huang Nian assured.

"Really?" Little White purred, rubbing its head against her.

"Let's go to the market," Huang Nian said, leaving the Huang Mansion.

As they walked, they overheard people discussing a competition organized by the Mystery Sect in six months, meant for young masters and misses.

"Master, why don't you sign up for the competition?" Little White suggested.

"Not a bad idea," Huang Nian mused.

They bought steamed buns and sticky rice, enjoying the meal in a small restaurant. On the way back, Huang Nian spotted Huang Ning and Di Chen, the Crown Prince, acting intimately near a Treasure House.

"The Crown Prince and Miss Huang Ning are a match made in heaven," someone remarked.

"The Crown Prince is talented, and Miss Huang Ning is equally gifted. Their child would be a genius," another added.

Huang Nian walked toward them, attracting curious glances.

"Isn't that the number one trash of Longyuan Dynasty?" someone sneered.

"Yes, she can't compare to Miss Huang Ning. How shameless of her to show her face here."

Huang Ning's lips curled into a devilish smile before she quickly masked it with a frown.

"You can't say that about my elder sister," Huang Ning said, feigning concern.

"Elder Sister, since you're heading home, why don't we go together?" Huang Ning suggested, trying to take Huang Nian's hand.

Huang Nian pulled her hand back, refusing the gesture.

"Ning Ning, the carriage can't hold all three of us," Di Chen commented.

"Your Highness, we can share the carriage," Huang Ning offered.

"I don't need your service," Huang Nian dismissed them, walking away.

"Young Miss Huang Ning is so kind, but her sister turned her down. I pity Miss Ning."

"If she were my sister, I would have killed her with my bare hands."

"Ning Ning, did you have to embarrass yourself for that trash?" Di Chen asked, clearly annoyed.
