Try your best and behave well at school. And you know, being my son, there might be some special treatment. Don't let it get to your head," I have been hearing so many complaints lately about you, she cautioned before leaving his room
As Jack made his way to the balcony, marveling at the beautiful view connected to his room.
His attention was suddenly captured by a girl walking towards the pool. He stood there, frozen as he admired her graceful figure.
His eyes moved around her; he couldn't help himself.
" Damn," He murmured. He could not deny the fact about what he saw
His gaze lingered on her as she dived into the pool and began to swim. She moved with elegance and grace, captivating his attention even more.
He watched her until she emerged from the pool and headed towards a lounge chair. However, his reverie was interrupted by the ringing of his phone, causing the girl to glance in his direction and hastily cover herself with a towel.
Jack frowned, Shrugging off the confusion, he returned to his room to take a bath and change into fresh clothes. As he did, he glanced across to the room opposite his and noticed the same girl he had seen earlier.
Wait, was that Emily?

I couldn't believe it; even Faith was surprised when I broke the news to her about the dinner in Jack's mansion. Meanwhile, Faith was not ok with it, but after insisting on it, she decided to come along.
We all ate silently from the food, savoring the delicious meal. I found myself enjoying the flavors and the warmth of the moment.
"Mm?" What that's faith said turning to look at me.
"The food is so delicious,,,,, "I said with a smile playing on my lips.
"The way you talked, hope you know they heard you, Faith teased, making my eyes widen.
As we finished our dinner and prepared to leave, we thanked Mrs Austin for the meal; she gave Faith a warm hug before turning to me.
" Thank you for joining us for dinner," She said.
I hope you enjoyed yourself.
"Yeah it was nice and fun, I said shyly
Ok nice meeting you
"Any time," I smiled, reciprocating the gratitude. and one more thing,
. I don't know if you would have the chance to help teach him what you've been taught," she explained, smiling kindly.
Wait, me? Why me of all the teachers in the school?
"He will meet you whenever you have the chance,
"And he's also struggling in math," she added, awaiting my response.
"Yes, sure. I can teach him," I agreed, trying to be helpful.
"Thank you so much, she expressed her gratitude, hugging me again.
I looked at Jack, feeling a pang of annoyance at his apparent lack of enthusiasm. I despised boys with too much pride, and he seemed to fit the bill perfectly.
His stupid pride.
"Goodnight, Aunty," I bid her farewell, as I called out to faith
"Faith," I called out, causing her to hurry up
"I know you don't like any boy. No need for your comment, Mrs. 'I don't like anybody'," she teased, causing me to chuckle. Despite our age difference, Faith seems to understand me better than anyone else in the world.
"Who told you I don't like anybody?" I challenged her.
"You? Can you like somebody?" she retorted, bursting into laughter.
"What?" I asked, curious about her amusement.
"Hope it's not what am thinking, after what you're being thorough, Faith said
"Me? Please, I don't even find him attractive and his not even my type, I just want to concentrate on my studies for now
"Well just as you said, his not attractive, but I noticed a change in his character today and I'm starting to wonder if his just playing nice because of his mother's Faith said
"I'm starting to wonder if you're attracted to him, cause you're free to make your move, I said jokingly
"Please, I'm not and I have someone in mind,
" And who could that lucky boy be, I said jokingly to Faith.
It's a surprise but don't worry, you meet him tomorrow
" Can't you just relax for once, have fun, and stop being the all-serious student every time? You've been winning it ever since we became friends. Don't you think that they might feel jealous about it, faith said as we reached the entrance
"Well, they can do whatever they want. I'll continue to excel until I graduate. Besides, it's my last year," I replied confidently.
Faith yawned tiredly before opening her bedroom door, it was a long day and she was really tired
" Goodnight," I said; she bid me goodnight before closing her door.
I walked back to my room, feeling grateful for the conversation with Faith. She always found a way to lift my spirits and make me smile.
After changing into my pajamas, I glanced back at my window and saw Jack lying on his bed. Wait, if I don't close my window, I'll always have to see this dude
God!
"Now you're the one staring at me," Jack remarked, sitting up already.
"I don't have to waste my time on you" I replied, yawning before settling onto my bed.
"You're just unnecessarily cold and shy," he commented, causing me to sit back up.
"Me or you?" I challenged.
"I'd say you," he responded.
"You started it, though," I retorted.
"I did nothing, miss," he claimed.
"My name is Emily Call me Emily," I stated firmly.
"Why are you always Cold and moody ?" he asked, irritating me further.
"And you expect me to answer that?" I replied, feeling annoyed.
"Yes, especially if you want to prove that you're not rude at all," he remarked.
"Why should I want to prove anything to you?" I questioned.
"You're complicating everything," he remarked, making me sigh in frustration.
Look I'm here in spring at Dale High to study hard, so stop getting any ideas
"Please, goodnight," I said before standing up to close my window.
I might as well not open it again.
To be continued...
