Set to Go

Jimin took a deep breath. "Me and Inna… we're planning to go on a trip to the island. So, can I?" He looked up, his eyes meeting his mom's, searching for her reaction.

Jimin's mom smiled gently. "Okay."

Jimin blinked, surprised by the ease of her response. "Okay?"

His mom nodded again. "You need some relaxation besides studying, it's essential."

Jimin's face lit up with happiness, though he tried his best to keep his excitement contained. With a calm voice, he said, "Thank you so much, Mom."

His mom chuckled softly. "Oh, you're welcome."

Jimin stood up, feeling lighter. "So, I gotta go…"His mom simply nodded, "Hmm."

His mom watched him as he walked back to his room, a soft, thoughtful smile on her face.

Once inside, Jimin pulled out his phone and texted Inna,"We're good to go. My mom said yes."

Meanwhile, at Inna's house, she lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling, wondering if Jimin would actually agree to the trip. She replayed their conversation over and over, expecting him to back out at the last minute. Just as doubt crept in, her phone buzzed.

Inna grabbed it and saw Jimin's message. Her eyes widened, and a grin spread across her face. Bursting with excitement, she jumped up and cheered, "Yes! We're going on a summer trip!"

Inna's joy filled the room, her mind already racing with plans for their adventure. For her, this trip was not just about fun, it was a chance to break free from the everyday routine and make unforgettable memories with Jimin.
