Chit Chat

Damien had his reasons for offering the deal to the Beckers with almost zero margin profit. He didn't care if the deal was beneficial or not, as long as he could take the deal right from the Fredricks hands, he was okay with everything.

If getting the deal meant losing a little bit of money, he was happy to do it.

Damien Anderson was not someone who believed in keeping grudges or taking revenge. He wasn't a petty person but a particular incident from the past forced him to be this way.

He had everything one would want from life. He was the sole heir and CEO of a multinational company which was started by his great–grandfather in the 40's, The Anderson Enterprise.

After completing his education from the States, he had returned back to the country only a couple of years back. Until his return, he had been remotely working as the CEO of the company.

The Anderson's were a prestigious family with old money. Their wealth doubled and tripled with each generation. There were not even a handful of families who could compare themselves with them in terms of wealth, status and respect.

Though he had all the privileges growing up, Damien Anderson never took it for granted. He had always kept a low profile and never gloated on how fat his bank account was.

He gave the credit of his humbleness to his grandparents who had raised him since he was ten years old. They had taught him not to look down on people or show off how much he had until it was very necessary. The values and lessons he had learnt from them made him what he was today.

Damien wasn't like the other socialites of his age who believed they were invincible and took pride in being arrogant. He didn't like burning his time and money in clubs or women. He did like going out but only with his close friends.

Though he was one of the many eligible bachelors of the town, he was rarely seen with a woman even though there were many who were desperately trying to throw themselves at him.

"Excuse me, is that your car?" Without waiting for a response, Angella continued, "If it is, that is a very bad way to park your car and chit chat out here."

Martin quickly got up. "I am very sorry miss, our car broke down so—"

"Great, your car broke down and you are chit chatting over here," She grunted. "Don't you have any sense? Get a mechanic or push it away. It's blocking my car."

Not knowing how to deal with the woman who clearly had a very bad temper, Martin looked at his boss for help only to find Damien already looking at the woman with a smile.

"Boss—" Martin nudged Damien.

"Oh so you are the—" Angella stopped midway and frowned.

Damien on the other hand kept looking at her with the corner of his lips curled upwards.
