Grinning

Angella looked at Martin who was already low-key freaking out. "How much time will it take for you to move the car?"

"I don't know—" Martin mumbled. "The other car is on the way and—"

"Great," she grunted before pulling out her phone. She was already late for lunch. The kids were waiting for her and had already called her twice.

"Mike, can you ask someone to drop me home?" She called her father's assistant. "No, everything is fine. Someone's car broke down right in front of mine so—Thank you, I am waiting in the parking lot."

"Miss, we are very sorry for the inconvenience. Actually—"

"That's alright," She interrupted Martin. "It could have happened to anyone."

Martin was about to say something when a phone call interrupted him. "I need to take this." He looked at Damien, "Boss?" He stepped aside for a bit when Damien gave him a nod.

Angella looked at Damien and frowned when she found him smiling at her again. It was like the man had slept with a hanger in his mouth.

"Lovely day, isn't it?" Damien asked with a huge grin on his face.

She was about to answer when Mike arrived. "Angella—" He called her out as he approached her.

"I was leaving for lunch when you called me," he added. "Come, I'll drop you home."

"It's okay, I can ask someone else." Angella didn't want to trouble Mike when he already had so many things to do.

"Don't be silly, I am happy to help." Mike was about to say something else when he noticed a figure standing in front of him.

"Mr. Anderson—" He quickly greeted him. I am sorry I didn't see you earlier."

"That's alright, I am just waiting for my car." Though Damien was talking to Mike, he kept stealing glances of Angella.

Angella on the other hand was trying her best to ignore the weird looks the man was giving her.

"Oh so your car broke down?"

Damien nodded. "It did."

Just then Martin arrived. "Boss, the car will be here soon."

"I can drop you too," Mike offered. "If you don't mind."

"No, it's okay."

"I don't mind."

Martin and Damien remarked simultaneously.

Confused, Martin looked at his boss. He didn't mind taking a ride with strangers when their car was already on the way?

"It's been twenty minutes since I am sitting on this hard surface and the car isn't here yet," Damien frowned. "My back hurts and this heat is killing me." He pretended to loosen his neck tie.

Martin looked at him in shock. Wasn't this the same man who told him to relax and to worry about being stuck in some parking lot? Why was he whining all of a sudden?

"Removing your blazer will definitely help with the heat," Angella couldn't help but remark.

Without saying anything, Damien took off his blazer and handed it over to his assistant. He then smiled before taking a deep breath. "You are right, it does help."

Angella was about to say something but Mike interrupted her.

"Why don't we make a move then?" Mike quickly guided Damien and Angella towards his car.
