Layla's cheerfulness eased David's post-exercise fatigue.

Clara came down from the stairs. "I out of money!"

"Oh... Ok! I'll get some money for you," David said.

"Can you add a little bit cash?" Clara pleaded.

David sighed.

He turned to Layla. "Do you need pocket money too?"

Layla shook her head slightly.

"Really?"

"Well, I do have some money from that writing contest. So, you don't need to give me any for now, hehe..." Layla's innocent smile brightened David's mood.

Having a sister like Layla made David grateful. It wasn't that he didn't appreciate Clara's presence. Both sisters were like yin and yang, complementing each other. Without Clara's sharp words, David might have been lulled by Layla's kindness and wouldn't move forward, especially with Layla's sweetness.
