Family Reunion

Amanda stared at the handsome man sitting at the table with widened eyes and a gaping mouth. The man had a similar expression on his face, and after a few seconds, they both burst out laughing.

Veronica and Krista stared at them both with confusion. Neither understanding what was going on between the two.

"Don't tell me you still haven't realized it yet? Look at the girl's face for gods sake! Doesn't it look familiar? The facial structure, the way she laughs, the abnormal height for a 16-year-old?"

Tom's words brought much needed clarity to Veronica, and upon closer examination and after a bit of thinking, she finally realized who the girl was.

Michael left Vindra behind four years ago, because of an incident that resulted in her parents' death. It was tragic, and in a way he was at fault, or at least that's what her young sister believed.
