Billie, Gerald, and Eclipse walked up to the large double door. Even the mansion's entrance screamed wealth. Exotic, light-shaded wood, reinforced with golden lining, formed the doors.

The artisans crafted the doorframe in a similar manner. The artwork's length brimming with elaborate carvings.

Billie's hand trembled as she reached for the large golden knocker on the door. The knocker locked like some sort of sea serpent's head, with a golden ring held between its fangs.

She gently raised the ring and let it go. As it hit the golden metal attached to the door, a loud thump echoed inside the building. Afterward, they waited for the man to appear patiently.

They waited, but only heard the silence weighing heavily upon them. She knocked again, harder, her annoyance exceeding her fear.
