Chapter 10

I held Lunamon close as Hestia came rushing towards us, her eyes brimming with tears and her nose running comically.

"David! Lunamon!" she cried, her voice high-pitched with relief. "You're both safe!"

Hestia threw her arms around us, squeezing us tightly. I could feel her body trembling as she buried her face in my shoulder, her tears and snot smearing against my shirt.

"I was so worried!" Hestia wailed, her words muffled by my clothing. "When that big, scary bug attacked, I thought you were goners!"

I chuckled, gently patting Hestia's back. "It's alright, Hestia," I reassured her. "Lunamon and I took care of it."

Hestia pulled back, her eyes shining with awe. "I saw Lunamon turn into that amazing warrior Digimon!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement. "She was so powerful, and she beat that big, mean bug!"

Lunamon blushed, her large eyes darting away shyly. "I-I just did what I had to do to protect David-san," she said, her voice soft and humble.

Hestia reached out, gently patting Lunamon's head. "You were amazing, Lunamon!" she gushed, her smile wide and infectious. "I'm so proud of you!"

Lunamon's blush deepened, and she nuzzled against my chest, seeking comfort. I couldn't help but chuckle at the endearing scene.

Hestia's expression suddenly shifted, her brow furrowing in concern. "But wait, you two are hurt!" she cried, her voice laced with worry. "We need to get you patched up!"

Without hesitation, Hestia began fussing over us, her hands gently probing our injuries. She tsked and fretted, her concern for our wellbeing evident in every action.

"Don't worry, Hestia," I said, offering her a reassuring smile. "We'll be just fine. Lunamon and I make a pretty good team, after all."

Hestia paused, her eyes shining with pride. "That's right!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement. "My Familia is the best!"

She pulled us both into another tight hug, her laughter echoing through the forest. I glanced at Lunamon, and we shared a knowing look, both of us amused and touched by Hestia's infectious enthusiasm.

I turned my attention to the Digitama that had once been the fearsome Kuwagamon. "So, Lunamon, what do we do with this thing?" I asked, giving it a curious poke.

Lunamon's large eyes blinked up at me, her voice soft and reassuring. "We can leave it be, David-san," she said. "The Digitama will hatch on its own, sooner or later."

I quirked an eyebrow, eyeing the pulsing, glowing egg. "Hatch, huh? So, what, is a baby bug-monster gonna come crawling out of there?" I asked, trying to imagine the adorable, yet horrifying, possibilities.

Hestia, who had been fussing over our minor injuries, perked up at the mention of the Digitama. "Ooh, a baby Digimon?" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Can we keep it? Please, David? Pleeease?" She bounced up and down, her boobs jiggling in a rather distracting manner.

I held up my hands, chuckling. "Whoa, whoa, slow down there, Hestia. I don't think a baby Kuwagamon is exactly the kind of pet we need around here," I said, picturing the chaos that could ensue.

Lunamon nodded sagely. "It's best to leave the Digitama be," she advised. "The Digimon inside will emerge when the time is right, and we shouldn't interfere with the natural cycle."

Hestia pouted, her lower lip trembling in an exaggerated display of disappointment. "Aww, but I wanted a cute little Digimon baby to cuddle!" she whined, crossing her arms under her chest, which only served to emphasize her ample assets even more.

I couldn't help but laugh at her antics. "Sorry, Hestia, but I think we've got our hands full with you already," I teased, earning a playful swat on the arm.

I winced as Hestia stretched my cheeks, her pout morphing into a mischievous grin. "Hey, hey, no need to get so rough!" I protested, my words coming out garbled.

Lunamon looked on with a mixture of amusement and concern, her large eyes blinking rapidly. "David-san, are you alright?" she asked, her brow furrowed.

Hestia finally relented, allowing me to rub my sore cheeks. "Hmph, you shouldn't have made fun of me like that!" she huffed, crossing her arms under her chest once more.

I chuckled nervously, raising my hands in a placating gesture. "Alright, alright, my bad. I'm sorry, Hestia. I was just teasing, you know?" I said, offering her an apologetic smile.

Hestia's expression softened, and she nodded, her pout slowly transforming into a warm smile. "I know, I know. I'm just so happy you're both safe!" she exclaimed, pulling us both into another tight hug.

I glanced down at Lunamon, who had nestled comfortably against my side. "Hey, Lunamon," I began, my voice soft and sincere. "I was wondering if... well, if you'd like to officially join our Familia?"

Lunamon's eyes widened, and she looked up at me, her expression filled with a mix of surprise and joy. "R-really, David-san?" she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hestia, who had been listening intently, let out an excited squeal. "Oh, yes, yes, yes!" she cried, practically bouncing with glee. "Lunamon is already part of our Familia, aren't you, dear?" She reached out and pulled Lunamon into a warm embrace, her smile radiant.

Lunamon seemed overwhelmed, her cheeks flushed with a deep blush. "I-I..." she stammered, her gaze shifting between Hestia and me.

I chuckled and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "What do you say, Lunamon? Will you join us?" I asked, my voice filled with genuine affection.

Lunamon's expression softened, and she nodded, a small smile spreading across her face. "Yes, David-san," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I would be honored to be a part of your Familia."

Hestia let out another joyful squeal, hugging Lunamon even tighter. "Yay! Welcome to the Hestia Familia, Lunamon!" she exclaimed, her enthusiasm infectious.

I couldn't help but smile at the endearing scene, feeling a sense of warmth and belonging wash over me. This was my Familia, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I chuckled as Hestia's eyes went wide with curiosity, her gaze fixed on the Digivice in my hand. "What's that, David?" she asked, tilting her head to the side like a curious puppy.

"Ah, this?" I said, holding up the sleek, futuristic device. "This is a Digivice. It's a pretty nifty little gadget that helps me and Lunamon here stay connected." I flashed Hestia a playful grin.

Hestia leaned in closer, her boobs bouncing slightly as she peered at the Digivice. "Ooh, what does it do?" she asked, her voice filled with childlike wonder.

I cleared my throat, trying not to get too distracted by Hestia's, uh, assets. "Well, you see, this Digivice allows me to, uh, keep track of Lunamon's status and stuff. And it helps her digivolve into her stronger forms, like that cool warrior Digimon you saw earlier."

Hestia's eyes widened even further, and she let out an excited squeal. "So it's like a magical girl transformation device?" she exclaimed, practically vibrating with excitement. "That's so cool!"

I chuckled nervously, nodding. "Yeah, something like that. Though I have to say, Lunamon's transformation is a lot more impressive than any magical girl show I've ever seen."

Hestia giggled, reaching out to poke the Digivice curiously. "Can I try it? Please, David? I wanna see if I can make Lunamon digivolve, too!" she pleaded, her lower lip jutting out in a playful pout.

I couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm. "I don't think it works that way, Hestia," I said, gently pulling the Digivice out of her reach. "But maybe I can show you how it works sometime, if you're good."

Hestia huffed, crossing her arms under her chest once more. "Hmph, you're no fun, David," she grumbled, though the mischievous glint in her eyes betrayed her true feelings.

I chuckled at Hestia's antics, shaking my head fondly. "Alright, alright, let's get out of here and head back to my place," I said, already picturing the comfort of my apartment.

Raising my hand, I focused my energy and opened a shimmering portal right in front of us. "After you, ladies," I said with a grin, gesturing for Hestia and Lunamon to step through.

Hestia and Lunamon stepped through the portal, and I followed closely behind them. As we emerged in my cozy apartment, Hestia let out a content sigh and plopped down on the sofa, her ample bosom bouncing with the motion.

"Ahh, home sweet home!" she exclaimed, stretching her arms over her head. Lunamon, on the other hand, looked around with wide, curious eyes, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings.

"This place is quite different from the Digital World, isn't it, Lunamon?" I chuckled, amused by her fascination.

Lunamon nodded, her gaze darting from one appliance to the next. She reached out a delicate paw to poke at the microwave, tilting her head to the side. "What is this strange device, David-san?" she asked, her voice soft and inquisitive.

Hestia, who had been sprawled out on the couch, perked up at Lunamon's question. "Ooh, that's a microwave!" she exclaimed, bouncing up to join Lunamon. "You can use it to heat up food really quickly!" Hestia demonstrated by opening the microwave door and gesturing grandly inside.

I couldn't help but laugh at Hestia's exaggerated movements, shaking my head fondly. "Careful there, Hestia. Don't want you to accidentally start a fire or something," I teased, earning a playful pout from the goddess.

Hestia huffed, crossing her arms under her bust. "Hey, I'm not that stupid, you know!" she retorted, puffing out her cheeks in an exaggerated pout. "I may be a goddess, but I'm not about to go setting my own home on fire. Give me a little credit, David!"

I chuckled, raising my hands in a placating gesture. "Alright, alright, my bad. I shouldn't have doubted your, uh, microwave expertise," I said, unable to keep the amusement from my voice.

Lunamon watched our exchange with wide, curious eyes, her tail swishing back and forth. "David-san, Hestia-san, you two seem to have a very lively relationship," she observed, her tone soft and thoughtful.

Hestia beamed, wrapping an arm around Lunamon's shoulders. "That's right, Lunamon!" she exclaimed. "We're a big, happy family, and you're a part of it now!" Her smile was radiant, and I couldn't help but feel a warm sense of belonging.

I chuckled as Hestia beamed, her excitement palpable. "That's right, Lunamon! As the goddess of our Familia, it's my duty to bestow you with a Falna!" She bounced on the balls of her feet, her ample bosom jiggling in a rather distracting way.

Lunamon blinked up at Hestia, her large eyes filled with curiosity. "A Falna?" she asked, her voice soft and inquisitive. "What is that, Hestia-san?"

Hestia's smile widened, and she clapped her hands together. "Oh, Lunamon, you're going to love it!" she exclaimed. "A Falna is a divine blessing that I can give you, which will help you grow stronger and unlock all sorts of amazing abilities!" She paused, tapping her chin thoughtfully. "Although, I suppose I should show you instead of just telling you. Come, come!"

I followed Hestia as she eagerly ushered Lunamon to a clear spot in my living room. The goddess beamed with excitement, her eyes shining with delight.

"Alright, Lunamon, dear, turn around and show me your back," Hestia instructed, her voice warm and nurturing.

Lunamon blinked up at her, her large eyes filled with trust and curiosity. Slowly, she turned around, exposing the soft, lavender fur on her back.

Hestia approached Lunamon and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. Raising her other hand, she pricked the tip of her finger, allowing a single drop of crimson blood to fall onto Lunamon's back.

"With this, I, Hestia, the goddess of the Hearth, hereby bless you, Lunamon, as a member of the Hestia Familia," Hestia intoned, her voice carrying a reverent, almost melodic quality. "May the power of the divine flow through you, granting you strength, courage, and the ability to grow alongside your new family."

As the drop of blood sank into Lunamon's fur, a soft glow began to emanate from her back. Lunamon's eyes widened in wonder, and I could feel the air hum with a palpable energy.

I watched in awe as Lunamon's back began to glow, a mesmerizing display of soft, ethereal light. Hestia's words had carried a weight and reverence that I couldn't help but be captivated by. As the light faded, a distinctive symbol appeared on Lunamon's fur - the emblem of the Hestia Familia.

"There, it's done!" Hestia exclaimed, her voice brimming with pride. "Lunamon, you are now an official member of our Familia, blessed with my divine power."

Lunamon's large eyes were wide with wonder as she reached back to gently touch the symbol on her fur. "I... I don't know what to say, Hestia-san," she murmured, her voice soft and awed.

I couldn't help but smile at the sight, feeling a swell of affection for my new Familia. "Welcome to the team, Lunamon," I said, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We're glad to have you."

Hestia beamed, practically bouncing with excitement. "Now, let's take a look at your status!" she exclaimed, turning to me expectantly.

I nodded and quickly jotted down Lunamon's current abilities on a piece of paper, handing it to Hestia with a flourish.

Hestia's eyes widened as she scanned the information, her smile growing even brighter. "Oh, Lunamon, you're going to be such a wonderful addition to our Familia!" she exclaimed, pulling the Digimon into a tight hug.

Lunamon's cheeks flushed with a deep blush, but she returned the embrace, her expression filled with a mixture of joy and gratitude. I couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and belonging watching the two of them together.

I watched in amusement as Hestia eagerly approached me, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Alright, David, it's your turn!" she declared, gently tugging on my sleeve.

I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed as I looked over my updated status. Most of my stats had only gone up by a single point, with the exception of my endurance, which had increased by 3. I suppose that made sense, considering all the hits I had taken while fighting that Kuwagamon and protecting Hestia from falling off a cliff.

"Hey, cheer up, David!" Hestia said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. "At least you're still standing, right?" She gave me a playful nudge, her smile infectious.

I chuckled, nodding. "Yeah, I guess you've got a point there." Turning to Lunamon, I grinned. "Say, Lunamon, how about we celebrate your official joining of the Hestia Familia with some pizza?"

Hestia's eyes lit up, and she practically bounced on the balls of her feet. "Pizza? What's that?" she asked, her voice brimming with excitement. "Is it some kind of delicious new food from your world, David?"

Lunamon tilted her head, her large eyes filled with curiosity. "I've never heard of this 'pizza' before," she said, her tail swishing back and forth. "What is it, David-san?"

I couldn't help but laugh at their enthusiasm. "Well, you're both in for a treat," I said, already reaching for my phone to place an order. "Pizza is a delicious, flat bread topped with all sorts of yummy toppings. Trust me, you're gonna love it."

I ordered two large pizzas, my mouth already watering in anticipation. After about 30 minutes, the doorbell rang and I eagerly opened the door to find the delivery driver waiting with the steaming hot pies.

"Thanks, man," I said, handing him a generous tip. The driver's eyes widened as he counted the bills, and he gave me a grateful nod before hurrying back to his car.

Closing the door, I turned to Hestia and Lunamon, who were both eyeing the pizza boxes with rapt attention, their mouths practically drooling.

"Alright, you two," I said with a chuckle, "prepare to have your minds blown!"

I set the boxes down on the coffee table and dramatically lifted the lids, revealing the gooey, cheese-covered crusts adorned with various toppings. Hestia let out an excited squeal, while Lunamon's eyes went wide with wonder.

"Ooh, it looks so... so..." Hestia struggled to find the words, her hands fluttering excitedly.

"Delicious!" Lunamon finished, her tail swishing back and forth. She leaned in closer, sniffing the air with her dainty nose.

I grinned, already reaching for a slice. "Well, what are you waiting for?" I said, taking a big bite and relishing the perfect balance of flavors. "Dig in!"

Hestia needed no further encouragement. She practically pounced on the pizza, grabbing a slice and shoving it into her mouth with complete abandon. Cheese and sauce dripped down her chin, but she didn't seem to care, her eyes lighting up with delight.

Lunamon, on the other hand, approached the pizza more cautiously, gently picking up a slice and examining it closely. After a moment's hesitation, she took a small bite, her eyes widening in surprise.

"It's... it's incredible!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with wonder. Without further ado, she began devouring the slice, her tail swishing excitedly behind her.

I couldn't help but laugh at the comical display, my heart swelling with affection for my newfound family.

...

After the last delicious crumb of pizza had disappeared, I leaned back with a contented sigh, my belly pleasantly full. Hestia and Lunamon mirrored my relaxed posture, their faces lit up with blissful expressions.

"That was amazing!" Hestia exclaimed, licking the remnants of sauce from her fingers. "I can't believe you get to enjoy such wonderful food every day, David-kun."

I chuckled, amused by her enthusiasm. "Well, I don't have pizza every day, but there are plenty of other delicious dishes where that came from."

Hestia's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Then we must try them all! I want to experience every flavor Earth has to offer."

Lunamon nodded in agreement, her large eyes filled with wonder. "The pizza was truly exceptional. I can't wait to see what other culinary delights your world holds, David-san."

Smiling, I reached over and ruffled Lunamon's soft fur, eliciting a pleased chirp from the Digimon. "I promise we'll explore lots of new foods together," I assured her.

Hestia's expression suddenly shifted, and she fixed me with a serious look. "Speaking of exploring, David-kun, when are you planning to venture into the Dungeon now that you have Lunamon as your partner?"

I leaned back, considering Hestia's question. "Well, Hestia, to be honest, I'm not quite ready to take on the Dungeon just yet." I glanced over at Lunamon, who was watching me intently.

Lunamon spoke up, her voice soft and melodic. "David-san, I will do my very best to protect you in the Dungeon!" She clasped her paws together, her eyes sparkling with determination.

I couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable display. "I know you will, Lunamon, but that's exactly why I don't want to go just yet." I paused, trying to find the right words. "You see, I'm not nearly strong enough on my own. I can't expect you to have to protect me all the time. I need to get stronger first, so I can pull my own weight and we can watch each other's backs."

Hestia nodded sagely, a proud smile spreading across her face. "I see, David-kun. That is a wise decision. You must be strong to protect not only yourself, but your Familia as well." She tapped her chin thoughtfully. "So, what is your plan to become stronger?"

I grinned, feeling a surge of excitement. "Well, Hestia, I was thinking of finding a world where I can gain superpowers!" I leaned forward, my eyes sparkling with mischief. "Can you imagine it? Me, flying through the sky, blasting bad guys with energy beams, and maybe even getting a cool cape!"

Lunamon's ears perked up, and she tilted her head to the side. "Superpowers, David-san? That sounds quite extraordinary. How do you plan to acquire such abilities?"

I leaned back on the couch, a mischievous grin spreading across my face. "Superpowers, you say? Now that's an idea I can really get behind!"

Inside my mind, I started to envision the possibilities. "The RWBY universe, huh? Now that could be interesting. Imagine me, wielding some crazy Semblance that lets me, I don't know, shoot laser beams out of my eyes or something!" I chuckled to myself, picturing the hilarity that would ensue.

My smile faltered a bit as I considered the potential drawbacks. "But what if I end up with some lame Semblance, like the ability to make my hair grow really fast? That wouldn't exactly strike fear into the hearts of my enemies, would it?"

I scratched my chin, pondering another option. "Maybe I could try to learn magic instead. But then again, what if I don't even have any mana or aura or whatever it is those magic users need? I'd just end up looking like a fool, waving my hands around and nothing happening."

Hestia and Lunamon watched me with a mixture of amusement and confusion as I muttered to myself, my expressions shifting from excitement to disappointment and back again. I let out a frustrated sigh, realizing that my grand plans for superpowers might not be as straightforward as I had hoped.

I paused, a sudden realization dawning on me. "Hestia, Lunamon. I think I found just the world to go to." I couldn't help but grin, the excitement building inside me.

Hestia leaned forward, her eyes alight with curiosity. "Oh? And where might that be, David-kun?"

I held up a hand, my expression turning mischievous. "Ah, ah, ah. That's a surprise. You'll just have to wait and see." I winked at them, relishing the suspense.

Lunamon tilted her head, her ears perking up. "You've piqued our interest, David-san. What could this world be that has you so intrigued?"

I chuckled, crossing my arms over my chest. "Well, you'll just have to come with me and find out, won't you?"

I searched through my phone, my fingers quickly scrolling through the images until I landed on the familiar sight of a white-haired boy with vibrant green eyes. A grin spread across my face as I recognized the iconic character – Danny Phantom, the ghost-fighting hero of Amity Park.

"Ah, Danny Phantom," I murmured, excitement building within me. "This is the world I've been searching for."
