Chapter 244: Warning

This was the most bizarre case Robbin had worked on since becoming an FBI agent.

It was called bizarre, not difficult, because in the past, difficulty arose when someone obstructed the investigation, or the involved parties were extremely cunning.

But now it was different. Robbin felt as though he was pitting his wits against thin air.

Everyone he came into contact with would disappear without a trace.

Their families knew nothing at all.

Stakeouts at their homes yielded no results, and attempting to retrieve nearby surveillance footage would reveal it to be either lost or damaged.

Half a month had passed with not the slightest progress!

He wanted to investigate within the base, but it was now completely sealed off and he couldn't get in at all.

Robbin scratched his head, a vacant look in his eyes.

Was this some kind of a ghostly affair?

No, it couldn't be, there must be an invisible hand manipulating it all.
