Locke could sense something was wrong, and Ivan naturally could as well. There was no denying that the Black God Abyss was peculiar, possessing the feel of a sub-space, a world unto itself, with a black mist imbued with an unusual vitality.
"Locke, you all leave first."
"Boss, I—"
"Go now!"
After leading Locke and the others out of the empty pool area, Ivan promptly instructed them to leave first. After all, they were at the mercy of the Black God Abyss, and lingering in such a place could spell trouble.
Locke was initially unwilling, but seeing his boss's grave expression, he begrudgingly called for the Silkworm Queen and Thomas to fly toward the Blood Ring Mountains.
Ivan planted two fist-sized pearls deep in the rocky soil of the pool area, one on each side, before slowly ascending a small distance.
Their actions seemed to have angered the black mist.
