"Anyway, I heard that Ita-chan graduated from the academy already," Miyuki changed the topic, thinking she might have to carry Yukio's dead body back after dinner if He continued talking.

"Yes, he graduated in just half a year," Fugaku said with a smug face as if he were the one who had done it.

"Damn, he's only 6 years old! The only guy who graduated earlier than him was Kakashi," Miyuki commented.

"Well, didn't you guys also graduate around 6 years old, but intentionally didn't?" Mikoto said with a smirk.

"Hehe, who would want to be sent into war by graduating early? We weren't idiots," Yukio said.

He unintentionally—no, intentionally—belittled Kakashi, calling him an idiot.

Kakashi had a tick mark on his forehead.

"Anyway, is Itachi going to be placed on a team?" Miyuki asked.

"Well, Lord Third said he hasn't decided on the Jounin Sensei or his team. He mentioned finding suitable candidates a week ago," Fugaku replied.

"Why don't you let Mikoto-nee-chan take him as a disciple like she did with us?" Yukio suggested.

"We thought about it, but he wouldn't get much exposure that way. I or Fugaku can guide him in our free time anyway, but it's the last option," Mikoto said.

"I don't think Itachi would get complacent or slack off just because you're teaching him, nee-chan," Itachi straightened up upon hearing this.

"He definitely will," Mikoto said, glancing at Itachi.

"What about I take him as my disciple?" Miyuki suggested.

Mikoto and Fugaku were startled by the suggestion.

"Aren't you too young for that?"

"Didn't you take us as your apprentices when you were around the same age?"

"Well, I was still a year or two older than you and also more mature," Mikoto giggled at her own statement.

"Yeah, definitely not," Fugaku said while looking at Mikoto.

"Yeah, he's right, you were the exact opposite of the definition of mature," Yukio added.

Mikoto raised her hands in surrender. She couldn't really defend herself.

"Anyway, wouldn't that be detrimental for him as he technically wouldn't have teammates?" Fugaku asked.

"Well, he would have teammates older than him, probably jealous of him, so I don't think the teamwork would be that good. Anyway, when he's promoted to Chunin, he'll have to work with different types of people, so it doesn't matter that much," Kakashi said.

He was speaking from experience, having been on various teams before being transferred under Minato's tutelage.

"Yeah, plus, Danzo will definitely try to assassinate him since he's a prodigy and also a Uchiha," Yukio nonchalantly dropped a bomb no one was expecting.

Fugaku choked on his water.

Miyuki, who was holding a spoon to feed Sasuke, dropped it.

There was dead silence.

"Hmm, who is Danzo? Why will he try to assassinate me?" Itachi asked calmly, despite the gravity of the situation.

"Well... he's an old man with a cane and many bandages. He leads an Anbu unit called Root, where he abducts kids with talent, generally of civilian background, but clan ninjas aren't safe either. If you ever hear that somebody with talent supposedly died on a mission or didn't come to the academy the next day due to 'transferring,' 9 out of 10 times, there's a chance they were abducted into Root," Yukio said in a deep voice, trying to scare Itachi.

Itachi remained unfazed.

However, Sasuke started crying for some reason.

The room was deadly silent, except for Sasuke's cries.

Mikoto took Sasuke and calmed him down.

"I don't think you're supposed to say that in public, especially to kids," Miyuki whispered, but everyone present heard her.

Yukio had a realization. "Right, if somebody asks you who told you all this, definitely don't mention my name," Yukio said to Itachi with a straight face.

Everyone had a deadpan expression.

They still couldn't get used to Yukio's... eccentricity.

"Okay, I'll definitely say that you were not the one who told me this, nii-chan," Itachi said seriously, and Yukio nodded.

"So, you said he's an Anbu unit leader, does that mean the Third Hokage knows about this? Then why does he let it continue... Wait, is it to maintain his image? Like this division does the dirty work of the Hokage, allowing the Hokage faction to maintain their power against the clans?" Itachi's deduction was spot on.

"Yup, exactly," Yukio nodded.

Fugaku sighed. He knew his son could understand complex things, but he still didn't want to expose him to this dark side of the world so early.

But then again, it was better for him to know than to experience it himself.

"I see. It seems the Third Hokage is just putting on a facade of being a kind man," Itachi said.

"Not really, it depends on the perspective, I guess," Yukio surprisingly defended the Perverted Old Man.

"What do you mean?" Itachi asked curiously.

"Well, the Old Man is a Kage, which means he's a ninja," Yukio paused. "Ninjas are deceptive in nature, most of them are killers, and you shouldn't trust a ninja in the first place. Yup, that includes everyone in this room, except Sasuke."

"Okay, that might be too harsh a statement," Kakashi said, not really liking where the conversation was going.

"Hmm, I guess it is too early to say these things. My bad. Just remember, Itachi, this world is not white or black but rather grey. Everyone has their own desires and interests. Remember that," Yukio finished his tea.

He didn't really like drinking tea.

But he thought, why not?

"Woah, you're really yapping seriously today," Miyuki joked.

"Hehe, I guess Yukio has finally grown up, or he's spending too much time with the Third Hokage," Mikoto joked internally.

Everyone laughed at that.

Itachi was the only one who was clueless.

Even Sasuke seemed to understand the joke, as he was laughing.

"Nii-chan, you did say earlier that I'm a Uchiha, and that's why he will target me. What do you mean by that?"

"Well, I meant—" Miyuki put her palms on Yukio's mouth.

"Now, now, we're still in the clan head's house. Let's not speak loosely, right?" Miyuki threatened Yukio.

"It's fine, speak your thoughts. It's not like you guys are strangers," Fugaku said. He had seen these kids since they were around 6 years old.

"To be honest, Fugaku-san, I can't tell when you're happy or when you're sad my entire life," Yukio confessed.

"I meant your thoughts about Danzo and the Uchiha," a tick mark could be seen on Fugaku's forehead.

Mikoto just giggled.

"Well, it all started when the Sage of Six Paths distributed chakra—" "I think you should not start from ancient times. Maybe talking about recent things would be better," Kakashi cut Yukio off before he could spout something.

"Well, if you want the short version, it all started when the Second Hokage handed the Police Force to the Uchiha." Fugaku was surprised that Yukio was actually aware of where it started.

Then again, Yukio seemed to know a lot of things or more like be at the wrong place at the wrong time, intentionally.

"It was all intentional by the Second Hokage. He didn't trust the Uchiha at all due to Madara's defection and the Uchiha having a lot of strange prowess, especially the Sharingan, which naturally makes them more... intense."

"What do you mean by intense?" Itachi asked.

"Well, do you know how the Sharingan is awakened? Large emotional fluctuations, right? The top members of this clan have experienced this three times in their lives, meaning they have probably lost the most precious things to them three times!"

"From that point, I guess we could say they would be more paranoid or distrustful in nature," Itachi thought aloud.

"Yeah, plus Uchiha are naturally arrogant due to their dojutsu. I mean, the Sharingan is one of the top-level dojutsu or kekkei genkai in the world. So yeah, that was the reason Tobirama didn't like the Uchiha, also out of fear that another Madara might emerge."

"I see, so you're saying that Uchiha, who are arrogant by nature, would definitely be distrusted by the village, not only because of their jobs but also because of their nature," Itachi said, understanding the implication.

Fugaku sighed.

"Anyway, Danzo inherited Tobirama's cautious nature towards the Uchiha. He was also greedy because of the versatility of the Sharingan and some other powers it holds. So if, in the past years, you hear of an Uchiha killed outside the village and his body not found, I wouldn't be surprised if Danzo had taken that Sharingan," Yukio made an absurd claim.

"Yukio, I hope you have some backing for what you're saying. I hope your personal bias towards him isn't speaking because, as the clan head, I can't overlook this statement," Fug

aku said, the temperature in the room rising slightly.

"Well, I've done my own research. I could give you some proof, but I think that would harm the Uchiha clan in the long run," Yukio's statement caused everyone's eyes to widen.

Yukio generally doesn't lie, especially not in such a serious context involving his research or snooping around.

Fugaku's eyes also widened.

"But I can tell you that, apart from the experimental value of the Sharingan, there is one more reason Danzo likes collecting them."
