~________~

Charging out of the cave of the level 5 Stone Ogre, the first thing that Clinton did was to check on his system status again to reconfirm certain details for the plan he had in his mind.

The humans may be far higher-leveled than him, but in the end, they were in away ground where they were not welcomed.

The decaying forest itself rejected the presence of the humans.

Not only did it reject it, it suppressed their power.

Unlike them though, Clinton was no longer human, he was an undead skeleton. Here in this dark and rot-infested world of this forest, he felt at home, this was his home.

Not only did the decaying forest welcome him, it amplified his power. And not just that, even more importantly, Clinton was no brainless undead.

He was an undead skeleton that once lived as a human. And despite the fact that he already reincarnated, Clinton retained his human intelligence.

After spending more than a week in the decaying forest already, he knew its 2-kilometer radius like the back of his hand.

Compared to the humans who came in here blind, only relying on their magic to follow him, he knew the ins and outs of this forest like his own home.

What held him back previously was the lack of a capable weapon but now that he finally had one, Clinton was unleashed.

Clinton went on a rampage.

Following the mental map in his head and going east, it didn’t take him too long before he found what he was looking for.

Thud! Bam!

The first thing he heard was the thudding and crashing sound as trees were leveled to the ground like a Giant was stomping through the forest.

What further confirmed it was his miserable undead system.

{Warning! You have encountered a powerful enemy!}

{Magic Skill: Freezing; Ice Punch!}

Having went ahead of the humans already, immediately after Clinton set his eyes on the Green Goblin, he didn’t hesitate, he jumped directly into battle.

Holding his mythical weapons on each of his 2 skeleton hands, Clinton’s glowing fiery eyes flickered as he calculated while closing the distance rapidly.

Unlike your regular Green Goblin, this guy was massive, standing at more than 2.5 meters tall. Its body mass was wider than the regular Green Goblin and of course, unlike the others whose bats were made of wood, his bat was made of iron.

It was with this iron bat that he had been leveling trees left and right.

He had 2 glowing red dots in place of eyes and as Clinton charged in, angry all of a sudden, this apex predator turned to throw a punch.

It wielded its bat on its right hand, so the punch was from its left hand.

As its left hand moved with devastating force through the air, still in mid-air, the temperature rapidly turned cold as ice gathered before the moving fist, forming a thick layer of ice around it.

If that fist hit, it would deal devastating damage, most likely freezing the skeleton on impact but Clinton was prepared.

At the last moment, this skeleton ducked, sliding on its knee through the ground as the devastating fist went above him.

Clinton didn’t fight like a skeleton at all, rather, with his dagger and spear masteries, he fought like an ancient kung fu master who was not scared of war.

By sliding forward under the Green Goblin’s fist, leaving the apex predator in an unbalanced stance, he saw an opening. His eyes glinted viciously as he finally got the target that he wanted.

To throw the punch, the Green Goblin leaned forward, exposing its head. Now, with the human under it, it looked down at the human that dodged its punch.

{You have activated active skill: Accurate Throw!}

Whoosh!

Before the Green Goblin could understand what was going on, Clinton already threw one of the sharp bones up as it flew on a straight trajectory before impaling one of the eyes of the Green Goblin.

Damage notifications superimposed with Clinton’s vision.

There was silence for a few seconds, then…

RAWRRRR…!

The Green Goblin growled loudly in pain, kneeling while dropping its powerful steel bat as it grabbed its face with both hands.

Immediately after this happened, Clinton jumped, climbing on top the Green Goblin as he used its knee as a spring platform to scale its tall body. Wrapping his legs around its neck, he settled himself on its neck properly for some carnage.

When the Green Goblin realized what was happening, it desperately flailed its hands, trying to catch the skeleton but it was already too late.

Besides, its decision to remove its hands from its face again was a bad one as it exposed its last functioning eye.

Clinton stabbed without hesitation.

{You have activated Active Skill: Spear Thrust!}

BAM!

{CRITICAL HIT!}

{You have dealt +7.2 damage to your enemy!}

The eye socket of the Green Goblin burst open like tomatoes.

{You have triggered paralysis!}

Clinton was already ready for the furious and desperate counterattack of the Green Goblin as he got prepared to jump from its neck and retreat but that was when he saw this notification.

Seeing the Green Goblin freeze in place, in pain, his eyes gleamed dangerously like a predator with only murder in his eyes.

‘Perfecto!’ He echoed in his mind enthusiastically.

He retrieved the other pair of his mythical weapon, Magedon from the monster’s eye and then with both bones in his hand, he stabbed repeatedly at the already damaged eyes of this Green Goblin.

Clinton met no resistance; the bone daggers were just too sharp.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

{You have dealt damage…}

{You have dealt damage…}

{CRITICAL HIT!}

{You have dealt damage…}

{CRITICAL HIT!}

{You have killed a level 5 Green Goblin Lord!}

{You have gained XP!}

{You have sucked +6.5 health points!}

{HP: 7/7}

From beginning to end, this battle lasted less than 10 seconds.

“…!” Clinton stared at the corpse of the apex predator before him with widened eyes, trying and failing to believe that this was the same apex predator that seemed unkillable to him just some time ago.

‘How on earth…, did I become this powerful?’

The answer was his new weapon. He looked down at the 2 bones on his hands, feeling an urge to kiss them, and then he laughed.

“Hahaha…!”

“Hahahaha…!” Clinton laughed like a war crazy maniac.

He knew that the mythical bones would make him powerful, but not to this extent. The power he currently had access to far exceeded his expectations.

The base power of the mythical bone daggers was just ridiculous.

The Green Goblin never got the opportunity to retaliate and demonstrate its devastating powers. Heck, it got no chance to make use of its devastating skills.

Clinton grinned, not because of complacency but because of the practice bout he was about to have with the other level 5 monsters in this forest.

He was about to go on a rampage.

‘Come on!’ He growled in his mind. ‘Let’s practice together’.

Clinton moved.
