Chapter 3 – Shadows and Watchful Eyes

Ryo Gojo was a ghost. He walked among sorcerers, but none truly recognized his presence. Everywhere Gojo Satoru went, he drew attention like a burning star—too bright, too loud. Confident, arrogant, and undeniably powerful, Satoru was the embodiment of strength for all to see. But Ryo? He was the opposite. Though he possessed abilities far beyond human comprehension, he preferred to remain unnoticed. He had no interest in proving himself. Why would he? He already knew he was untouchable.

Meeting Geto and Shoko

"Yo, Satoru, who's this?" A tall boy with long black hair approached, curiosity shining in his eyes. Geto Suguru—the other half of Jujutsu High's strongest duo.

"Oh, him?" Satoru grinned, throwing an arm around Ryo's shoulder. "That's my big brother, Ryo. He's super lame, doesn't fight, and sleeps all day."

"Older brother?" Geto raised an eyebrow. "You two are twins."

"By one minute," Ryo corrected lazily. "And I prefer to stay out of trouble."

A third voice joined them.

"That's rare for a Gojo," said Shoko Ieiri, a cigarette resting between her fingers. "Most of them act like they own the world."

Ryo smirked. "Sounds exhausting."

Suguru studied him. Something was… off. He had spent enough time with Satoru to recognize overwhelming power, yet Ryo hid his so well it was unsettling.

Why did he choose to stay in the shadows?

Observation – Watching Satoru Grow

Ryo had a plan. He didn't need to train, fight, or experiment. He only needed one thing—time. With every passing second, Satoru moved closer to unlocking Red, Blue, and Hollow Purple. And when he did, Ryo would inherit them—only a hundred times stronger.

Perfect Blue → Not just attraction, but instant teleportation within his field of vision.Perfect Red → A force 100 times stronger than Satoru's, capable of effortlessly annihilating mountains.

So, he waited.

Test of Strength – A Simple Duel

Jujutsu High prided itself on producing the strongest sorcerers. Naturally, new students had to be tested.

"Alright, kids," a deep voice echoed across the training grounds. It was Masamichi Yaga, their instructor. "One of you will spar against a second-year student. Any volunteers?"

"I'll go," Satoru grinned, stepping forward.

His opponent was Kento Nanami, a promising second-year known for his precise combat style.

Ryo leaned against a nearby tree, arms crossed.

He wasn't here to fight. He was here to make sure Satoru didn't die.

The First Steps Toward Power

The battle began.

Satoru, arrogant as always, dodged effortlessly, testing his opponent. Nanami, focused and efficient, struck with well-placed blows, using his Ratio Technique to target weak points.

At first, it seemed even. But soon… Satoru's overwhelming potential became evident. With each exchange, he adapted, pushed his limits, and stepped closer to his true capabilities.

Nanami, despite his skill, began to lose ground.

Satoru's reaction time sharpened. His movements became cleaner, more refined.

Then, for the first time, a faint glow surrounded him—his Infinity was awakening, even if only for an instant.

Ryo watched, expression unreadable.

Not yet… but soon.

Nanami, realizing the gap in their abilities, lowered his stance. "I surrender. There's no point in continuing."

Satoru smirked. "Smart choice."

Yaga nodded. "Alright, that's enough for today."

As everyone dispersed, Geto approached Ryo.

"You knew, didn't you? That Satoru would win."

Ryo simply shrugged. "He just needs a push."

Time Skip – The Arrival of Toji Zen'in

Months passed. Satoru's strength grew, as did his arrogance. The moment of his true awakening was near.

Then, he arrived.

Toji Fushiguro.

Ryo watched from the shadows, his heartbeat steady.

The Sorcerer Killer had come for his brother's life.

And for the first time, something stirred within Ryo.

He wouldn't interfere… but he would be ready.

The Battle Begins – Toji vs. Gojo

The night was cold.

The battlefield was set.

Gojo Satoru stood alone.

A flash of movement—faster than the eye could perceive. Toji Zen'in appeared, blade in hand.

Satoru barely had time to react before blood splattered the ground.

A deep slash tore through his shoulder.

What—?!

Satoru stumbled back, his expression twisting in shock.

No cursed energy. No presence. Nothing.

Toji was a ghost.

"You're too arrogant, kid," Toji smirked. "Relying too much on your eyes."

Satoru gritted his teeth.

He had never felt fear—until now.

Ryo watched from a rooftop above. His hands clenched into fists.

Toji moved again. Too fast. Too precise.

His blade sliced through the air, aiming straight for Satoru's throat.

A desperate attempt—Satoru activated Limitless.

For an instant, Toji's blade stopped, Infinity holding him at bay.

But then—

SLASH!

The blade pierced through.

Blood gushed from Satoru's chest. His eyes widened.

Impossible.Toji grinned, gripping the Inverted Spear of Heaven—the cursed tool that nullified techniques."You're dead," Toji whispered, driving the blade deeper.

Satoru collapsed to the ground. His breathing slowed.Ryo's heart pounded. This was it.

Toji turned, stepping away. Victory was his.

But then—Satoru's fingers twitched. His eyes snapped open.A surge of pure cursed energy exploded around him. The air trembled. His wounds began to close—Reverse cursed technique!

Toji stopped in his tracks. His instincts screamed—Something was wrong.

Satoru slowly rose, his face shadowed. A crazed grin spread across his lips."You messed up," he whispered.

Toji barely had time to move before a new power awakened.

Hollow Purple.

A blinding surge of energy obliterated everything in its path.Toji's body crumbled—his arrogance, his power, all reduced to nothing.

And meanwhile Ryo, {Ding, you have received False Immortality and Perfect Hollow Purple}

False Immortality: Heals 100x faster than Reverse Cursed Technique and can heal other people.
