Chapter 4 – The Silent Ascent

First Meeting with Itadori and Megumi

The Jujutsu High compound was bathed in a peaceful atmosphere on this late afternoon. Ryo walked at a slow pace, hands in his pockets, following his brother Satoru from a distance as he chatted with two new students. He immediately recognized Megumi Fushiguro and Yuji Itadori.

"Hey, Ryo! Come over here!" Satoru called out with his usual mischievous grin.

Ryo approached leisurely, his calm gaze scanning the two teenagers. Megumi watched him warily, while Itadori seemed curious.

"Let me introduce my little brother, Ryo. He's super annoying but incredibly strong."

Megumi raised an eyebrow. "Another Gojo? Hard to believe you two are brothers."

"Because he doesn't show off like me?" Satoru joked.

Ryo looked at Megumi with a slight smile. "I've heard about you, Megumi Fushiguro. You're the son of Toji Zen'in, aren't you?"

Megumi stiffened slightly. "I'd rather not talk about him."

Ryo didn't reply and instead turned to Itadori. The boy had a bright, somewhat naive energy, but more importantly… a presence that couldn't be ignored.

Sukuna is inside him.

Itadori, on his end, extended a friendly hand. "Nice to meet you, Ryo!"

Ryo observed his outstretched hand for a second before finally shaking it. "Likewise."

At that moment, he felt a deep force resonating within Itadori. Sukuna was there, lurking in the shadows. Interesting.

Time passed quickly, and soon, Ryo witnessed a crucial event: Megumi summoning Mahoraga for the first time.

The battle was desperate. Megumi, exhausted, was at his limit. Facing a threat he couldn't defeat, he had no choice but to use the divine wheel.

The incantation echoed in the air.

"The ultimate adaptation, Mahoraga."

The massive shikigami appeared, its four arms and crown spinning slowly. An entity of absolute adaptation.

Megumi knew he was going to die. But Ryo wouldn't allow it.

In a flash, he touched Megumi's shoulder.

A shiver ran through his body.

An almost imperceptible smile appeared on his lips.

The Invasion of Jujutsu High

Chaos descended upon Jujutsu High. The curses, led by Mahito and Hanami, attacked relentlessly. Meanwhile, Gojo Satoru was massacring his enemies with terrifying ease.

Ryo, however, remained in the shadows, watching everything.

He couldn't intervene yet.

But he wasn't idle either. He was collecting Sukuna's fingers that both Jujutsu High and Geto had yet to find.

The pieces were falling into place.

Gojo's Sealing & Sukuna's Awakening

The fateful moment arrived: Gojo Satoru was sealed within the Prison Realm.

Without their most powerful asset, the sorcerers were in disarray. Meanwhile, Jogo offered Sukuna all the fingers that Geto had collected.

The King of Curses slowly opened his eyes. A crushing wave of cursed energy spread across Shibuya. His smile was insane.

Sukuna destroyed a large portion of the city, leaving behind smoking ruins.

Ryo watched from a rooftop, holding the last remaining fingers in his hand.

He leaped from the building, landing in front of Sukuna.

"Here's what you need to reach your true form."

He tossed the remaining fingers at his feet.

Sukuna burst into laughter. "Interesting. Who are you?"

"Ryo Gojo."

Sukuna studied him before grinning. "I see. You're like your brother… but different. Very well. Show me."

Ryo stepped forward and placed his hand on Sukuna's shoulder.

Perfect Dissection: Slices not only matter but can sever the soul itself. Becomes an intangible attack capable of bypassing physical defenses and barriers.True Laceration: 100 times more powerful, capable of slicing mountains with a single gesture. Becomes a ranged attack, able to cut anything within his field of vision.True Incineration: Generates flames 100 times hotter than normal, burning even the surrounding space. Can spread instantly and incinerate everything within a massive radius. The era of the Demon King had begun.

Ryo vs. Sukuna – The End of an Era

The sky darkened as two titans faced each other. Sukuna, in his perfect form, radiated immeasurable energy.

But Ryo…

Ryo was beyond everything.

Sukuna attacked first, unleashing Dissection. An invisible blade slashed through the air… but Ryo didn't move.

The blade stopped mid-air.

"What?!"

Ryo smiled. "My Infinity is 100 times superior to Satoru's. Your attacks will never touch me."

Sukuna gritted his teeth and launched Laceration. A devastating wave of energy cut through everything for kilometers… except Ryo, who still didn't move.

"Is that all?"

The flames of Incineration erupted, burning the air itself.

But Ryo simply extended his hand and absorbed the flames as if they were nothing.

Sukuna roared, activating Malevolent Shrine. The cursed domain expanded… but within a second, Ryo activated Throne of the Demon God, instantly suppressing Sukuna's domain.

"Enough playing around."

Ryo raised his hand.

True Hollow Purple.

A vortex of destructive energy, far more terrifying than anything Sukuna had ever imagined, formed in the palm of his hand.

And in an instant…

The King of Curses vanished.

Ryo sighed and looked around. Shibuya was in ruins.

He lowered his gaze to Sukuna's lifeless body.

"It's over."

Silence fell over the city. The battles ceased.

The era of curses had come to an end.

Ryo Gojo, the invisible phantom, had finally stepped out of the shadows.
