Today Yua attends science class. She enters the classroom room and takes a seat.

"Okay class, since summer break is a couple weeks away. I will be ending the class with a final test next week. So take today's class time to study! ..oh I almost forgot, you can find a partner to study with as well."

The class was completely bummed out that their science teacher was giving a final test before summer break. But there was nothing they could do, so what else to do but find a partner to make studying easier? And so that's what everyone did. But Yua was at a lost. She didn't really know everyone in that class. And Junko wasn't part of her science class so she couldn't partner up with her. Until she spotted Katashi talking to his friend at the corner of her eye. 

But she couldn't remember his name.. either way that didn't matter because not only was this a perfect opportunity to speak to Katashi, it was also an excuse to speak to him. Swiftly getting up from her seat to closely approach Katashi and his friend.

Not long into the conversation the two were interrupted by Yua.

"H-hi again.. So.. uhm.. everyone else is p-partnering up and I wanted to know if… you could help me study.."

The two looked dumbfounded as Yua never specified who exactly.

"My charm works at last.. I would love to help you study my lov-" Kazuya chuckles to himself, slicking his hair back.

"No. I meant Katashi." Yua replied instantly with an serious look towards Kazuya.

"Uhm.. sure, would you like to start now?

Yua nodded smiling.

"But dude!! You were supposed to be my partner!"

"What? Man.. you don't even study. Even if we tried you'd just doze off."

Kazuya was ashamed to admit that Katashi was right, but just like Katashi said, Kazuya quickly dozed off while Yua and Katashi went to study.

At a different table.

While they were studying, Katashi couldn't help but notice that Yua wasn't paying much attention to what he had been saying. He wondered if she was feeling under the weather.

"Are… you feeling alright Himura-San? You haven't been listening to me."

"Huh? Oh.. I'm sorry. I guess I'm a little tired."

In reality Yua wasn't tired at all. She's just nervous to be around him. When she did turn her face to talk to him. To Katashi she looked somewhat familiar, and no doubt about it.

"Hey, Himura-San…"

Yua still looking away, responds

"Y-yes..?" Said Yua, her eyes looking at everything but Katashi.

He stared at Yua before he could finally pull out his words.

"Nevermind.. let's continue studying okay?"

Yua nodded. She felt sad, she can't build up the courage to speak to him. That's when she came up with an idea., If she can't talk to him face to face. Then texting would be much better.

"Hey.. Could I see the notes you have down in your book..?"

"Oh, yeah sure." He hands her his notebook.

Yua took this chance to write down her number in hopes that he will end up texting her. A weird way to do it but she had no other choice.

The school day ended and Yua left feeling defeated. She was too scared to look at him let alone speak. But something did cheer her spirit as she saw Junko at the gate and surprisingly. She was waiting on Yua so they could head to the cafe then home. And so the two proceeded to talk to each other and looked like they were getting along well.

And after some time, Yua finally arrived home and laid flat on her bed exhausted. And she was about to fall asleep until she got a text from an unknown number.

"Hey again, sorry if I'm interrupting something but I saw that you left your number in my notebook. So I decided to send you a text."

It was Katashi! Her eye's sparkled as she smiled. Her plan worked!

"I'm sorry! I should have asked first before doing that."

"It's totally fine. But I would like to know if you would like to meet up someday. So I can help you study a little bit more before the test."

Yua looked at the message speechless. Asking her to meet up. She was so excited that all her exhaustion had disappeared and she mindlessly jumped around. Despite it being about studying, she only cared about this second chance fate had given her.

"Yeah sure!! Just let me know when and where!!"

Katashi had replied with a thumbs up before turning off his phone and sitting back down at his computer, as before texting Yua. Kazuya was annoying him to play a game with him.
