Complete conquer

When Sienna emerged ten minutes later, she had returned to her normal self. In fact, she seemed much colder and unapproachable, her face hardly revealing any emotion. If not for the slight red streaks in her eyes, it'd have been difficult for anyone to say she had cried.

Kyrell was waiting for her outside and he nodded at her when he saw her arrive. There was something different about her. Although it wasn't that easy to notice, being a sensitive man, he immediately detected the change in her.

Sienna was emotionally detached. Previously, she'd at least smile sometimes, but now, it seemed her smile had vanished completely.

Now, she resembled nothing less than an Ice Queen, cold-blooded and merciless.

Kyrell didn't know what to do. He just sighed softly, cursing all the people responsible for her state.

"Miss Lawrence, all the shareholders have arrived," he informed and Sienna nodded.

A knock at the door caught their attention and Esme entered, holding a few files.

"Miss Lawrence, we are ready."

Sienna looked at her with an unfathomable gaze and started walking.

Stunned by her frigid attitude, Esme glanced at Kyrell questioningly, who only shook his head in distress.

The conference room was filled with all the shareholders who were conversing among themselves.

Even before Sienna entered, she heard a few words. Most of the shareholders wanted her to resign, some even as far as doubting her skills and her involvement in her family's deaths.

Sienna smirked and Esme felt chills run down her spine. She had never seen her this terrifying before.

Sienna's smirk indicated she was here to kill, and Esme started having a bad feeling all of a sudden.

Only Kyrell remained unperturbed. He trusted Sienna. She might have changed, sure. But she was still the Sienna Lawrence the world knew her to be. If she couldn't handle such disputes, she didn't deserve to be a Lawrence.

When Sienna entered the conference room, the crowd went silent immediately. Darting a threatening glance around, she took her seat in the Chairperson's chair, which was usually occupied by her father.

Glancing at Kyrell, she gestured for him to take the chair on her right while Esme sat on her left. Simon and Edward took their chairs beside Esme and Kyrell respectively.

"I have some important announcements to make," Sienna started, not giving the shareholders a moment to breathe. She just stared at them as if they were all puppets, once she would ensure would be under her control soon.

"There will be a few changes in the company hierarchy and as to what the changes are, you'll find out in a few days." Sienna looked at Edward and Simon, who nodded at her discreetly.

"Next, the Lawrence Group is now the partner and investor for Cowell Production House and we will soon be investing in a fantasy movie."

Sienna ignored the displeased looks on all the shareholders' faces as she continued dropping grenades over them one after the other.

"Third, we will soon be investing in Clean Energy and the project will begin in the second half of the year."

"Miss Lawrence..."

Sienna raised her hand, forcing the man to shut up.

"I am still speaking." She deadpanned, giving him a look that showed him hell within seconds.

"Lastly, all the people who spread rumors about me, including the TV station that broadcasted the news will be sued. Be prepared to receive my lawyer's letter."

Sienna didn't even have to look at him. Edward instantly started typing on his laptop, sending a quick order to their legal team.

Sienna stood up suddenly, her face filled with poise and regality. She darted her eyes around the room, ensuring to meet everyone in the eye. "I think you all have forgotten that I am Sienna Lawrence. I may be adopted. But I'm still a Lawrence and none of you or anyone in the world can do anything about it. You may try plotting against me but only do it if you're confident of winning. If you fail, be prepared to be destroyed by me."

Some of the weaker ones in the group looked at her fright, while the stronger ones started reevaluating her. Sienna didn't seem like the person they knew. The woman had become a warrior all of a sudden, one who wouldn't hesitate to ruin anyone who stood in her way.

"Ah, before I forget..." Sienna started, losing the coldness for a moment and smiling brightly. But that bright smile was filled with malice.

"This company belongs to my family and I am the largest shareholder now. I am the Chairperson and CEO and it will be so from henceforth. If you want to challenge me on this matter, bring it on. Let's see who'll win in the end."

Nobody dared to say a word. Something in Sienna's eyes told them that if they were to challenge her, she would ruin them completely. All of a sudden, she had become a force to reckon with and some of the shareholders who wanted her gone gripped their chairs tight, holding back their frustration.

"The share prices might have dropped for now. But they will increase in a week. You may raise your voices if they don't after one week." Sienna addressed the issue before anyone raised it.

Kyrell was impressed, Esme was in awe, Edward was astounded, and Simon was instantly reminded of Nathan, Sienna's father. Her strong demeanor and aura made him look at her in a new light. With her leadership, the company would flourish for sure, only that it might take some time.

Sienna's smile vanished as she sat down, returning to the Ice Queen she had been before she entered the conference room. "Does anyone have any questions?"

Nobody said a word until a woman who seemed a few years older than Sienna cleared her throat, gaining everyone's attention to her.

"Miss Lawrence, we trust you to manage the Lawrence Group brilliantly. I wanted to know if there will be a change in the company operations or if it will be the same?"

Sienna understood what the woman was asking. Bringing a sudden change in the company operations could lead to a lot of problems, especially for the employers, and in turn, the company could be affected.

"No, there will not be any changes. The company will operate how it used to when my father was the Chairman. Any other questions?"

Nobody said a word and Sienna nodded her head.

"Great. Since we are all on the same track, let's work hard to earn money. Shall we?" She smiled at them before she walked out of the room, leaving a dumbfounded audience behind.

Kyrell chuckled to himself as he followed her out. She had amazed him completely.

Sienna hadn't just conquered the shareholders, she slaughtered them single-handedly and they could do nothing about it.
