Chapter 66

"Now, let me get straight to the point,"

His voice was devoid of any emotion, making it difficult for Mill to discern his hidden intentions. This man was skilled at controlling his facial expressions, and even his imposing presence would make anyone bow to him involuntarily.

"Hah,"

A mocking smile appeared on Mill's face, his veins beginning to show. He hated this type of person, the one who hid his true feelings and face in such a cold manner.

"I want to make you the head of the research department for poisons in the Jasmine Kingdom,"

Of course, Mill hadn't misheard the words of this man, who remained calm. This man had destroyed half of the kingdom's medical research, and now, with the same coldness, was offering Mill a position to work under him, to be bound by the kingdom's rigid laws, to be a puppet—no, more like a robot—deprived of freedom of expression, trapped and forced to stop thinking.
