Chapter 67

"Have you forgotten, Taya, that there are many traitors among Orig's knights? They began baring their fangs and revolting after the plague spread and most of Orig's men perished. That tragedy deeply affected my dear Orig, and I was powerless to help him. But now, things will change,"

Taya whispered as her eyes glanced at the knights, whose behavior was very odd. She had thought that knights from the Jasmine Kingdom would be accompanying them, even though Orig's knights were with them.

"As far as I remember, there were two traitors within Orig's assassination squad, but why can't I recall their faces or even their names?"

Taya felt a sharp headache as she tried to remember what she wanted. Orig noticed her slowly massaging her forehead as if in pain, and his heart tightened, biting the inside of his cheek. He couldn't bear even the slightest upset mood from her.
