Chapter 120: The Tester

"Take advantage of the moment! Rush out!"

Seeing that Lutzow's shelling had created a gap in the encirclement, Agir seized the opportunity and shouted for the control ship to lead the charge toward the tester.

Neither Mainz nor Spee were particularly talkative ship girls, but that certainly didn't mean they didn't know how to cooperate.

As soon as Agir rushed toward the tester, the two immediately followed, using torpedoes and secondary artillery to push back the explorers encircling them on both sides.

They were determined to attack the core of this fleet: the testers.

As long as the Siren fleet command center's tester was defeated, the entire Siren fleet would gradually disintegrate.

However, the subject merely sneered and floated motionlessly on the surface of the sea, watching as the trio advanced toward him.

Just when Agir and the others thought they had broken free from the encirclement, they suddenly discovered a larger perimeter formed by more than a dozen Siren light cruiser trackers outside the explorers' encirclement.

The Sirens, numbering in the double digits, were already positioned behind these trackers, aiming their main guns at them.

"Boom, boom, boom!"

The main guns of the elite Siren executors opened fire instantly, forcing Agir and the others to advance.

The volume of shells and barrages was overwhelming, and the sea was filled with a dense stream of torpedoes.

For a moment, they were overpowered by the sheer number of Sirens.

"Damn!"

Agir let out a low curse, her golden eyes fixed on the tester as she fought back and returned fire while controlling the dragon suit.

Although the attacks from these executors could not inflict severe damage on them immediately, they were unsustainable against a relentless onslaught.

Even though they continued to fire at the Sirens and sink the executors, they still couldn't break through to the testers.

Just as Agir gritted her teeth and contemplated countermeasures, a large-caliber main gun shell tore through the air from behind them.

It was Brunhilde's attack.

This time, the main artillery shell exploded within range of the Siren explorers behind Agir and her team, blasting several explorers to the depths of the sea once again.

"Agir! Withdraw first! There are too many Sirens to be divided!"

On the battlefield, where cannon fire roared continuously, Brunhilde's voice rang out.

"Let's withdraw!"

Agir understood that this was not the time to press on.

As a large cruiser, she had the thickest armor.

However, Mainz and Spee were already showing signs of damage.

If they continued to be surrounded and attacked by this relentless group of executors, they would likely be consumed alive!

"If you want to leave now, isn't it too late?"

As soon as Agir's words fell, the subject's cold, mocking voice echoed in her ears.

A long-haired, silver-haired, iron-blooded large cruiser girl with golden eyes faced the subject.

At that moment, the high-level Siren tester, who had been standing still, finally made her move.

The manta ray suit, massive enough to blot out the sun, hovered in the air, and the tester beneath wore a bloodthirsty smile.

The porous, large-caliber gun barrels on either side of her body were now aimed at Spee.

As the tester's main gun targeted her, seven or eight dark gold carrier-based aircraft controlled by the tester flew silently above Spee.

"Spee! Be careful!"

Graf Spee, the heavy cruiser girl with short silver hair, was focusing all her energy on attacking the tracers beside her.

She opened fire with her main cannon, and her red mechanical claws tore apart an approaching explorer. But the blue-eyed girl Spee, her face cold, felt a strong sense of crisis.

"Boom!!"

The subject's attack was accompanied by a thunderous explosion.

The large-caliber armor-piercing shells from the seven or eight tester manta rays, combined with bombs dropped accurately by the carrier-based aircraft in the sky, assaulted the tiny girl.

Spee's pupils narrowed as she stared at the incoming attack.

With no time to dodge, she protected the bright red mechanical claws and armor in front of her and closed her eyes.

After a horrific explosion, Spee opened her eyes to find Agir standing in front of her, shielding her with her back.

Agir's steel ship-mounted dragon absorbed the brunt of the tester's assault.

"Ahem, ahem!"

Agir let out a painful cough.

The damage to the ship's equipment was synchronized with her physical state.

Despite being a powerful iron-blooded large cruiser, it was not easy for Agir to withstand the tester's blow.

The massive steel dragon had sustained a significant depression from the barrage.

"Agir!"

Spee attempted to step forward to support Agir, but the attacks from the surrounding Siren executors made it impossible.

"Mainz, quickly withdraw with Spee first! I will hold off the queen of the palace!"

Agir's body shook, but she remained standing on the surface of the sea.

In the game, Lin Lan had empowered them to their limits and equipped them with optimal graduation attributes, which were now clearly on display.

In this world, only a few powerful front-line ship girls from the Linlan Port area could withstand the full force of the high-level Sirens head-on.

Both Spee and Mainz understood that this was not the time for wasted words. As the Iron Captain, it was ingrained in their instincts to execute orders efficiently in battle.

The two immediately opened fire in front of them, launching torpedoes and sinking one explorer after another that attempted to cut them off.

Agir's previously proud face now showed signs of exhaustion.

She stood alone against the vast fleet of Sirens and the testers in mid-air, yet fear did not grip her heart.

"The power of mental awakening grants you the capability to fight us directly."

"But I have already analyzed your data, including that of the two battle cruisers and aircraft carriers behind you... and that sakura maintenance ship."

The Siren production fleet behind the tester finally approached the attack range, and their sheer number was nearly overwhelming.

The sneering senior Siren looked down at Agir, who dared to stand against them alone.

She raised her hand to halt the attacks from the executors and mass production types, speaking coldly.

"Tester, when did you become so verbose?"

The corners of Agir's mouth rose slightly. Despite the enormous combat power of her adversaries, she refused to lower her proud head.

"Tell me why you're here and why you're killing the test subjects in this testing field."

"I'll let you go for the sake of your importance as an experiment for the host."

Upon hearing the subject's words, Agir's heart skipped a beat.

The cold and ruthless Siren would say something like that, which had exceeded her expectations.

"How? It's a great deal."

The subject continued to sneer and inquire.

"Boom, boom, boom!!"

Before Agir could respond, two waves of powerful main artillery fire from Brunhilde and Lutzow struck from behind.

The targets were all directed at the subjects in mid-air.

However, when the smoke from the intense artillery fire cleared, the subject remained unscathed, as if the attack had no effect on her.

Seeing this defiant scene, Agir immediately understood the reason.

Adaptive armor.

This was a special ability possessed by the tester.

Once all hostile targets had been analyzed, the tester could create adaptive armor specifically tailored to counter the hostile target's attack patterns.

The arrival of adaptive armor also meant that they alone might not be able to defeat the tester here.

Destroying adaptive armor required multiple high-intensity strikes to force the tester to switch armor properties.

But they only had a few individuals, and they couldn't accomplish that at all.

"Agir, the Sirens' lurker submarine formation is here!"

Mainz's anxious voice rang out from behind, signaling that the subject was in complete control.

They still had too few companions.

And even if they managed to escape, would the Commander be able to escape from the testers?

Agir gritted her teeth and clenched her fists.

She had only a few seconds left to think.

Was it really necessary to compromise with the tester?
