Janey had prayed that if he was for her, God should make him come to church again. And although her faith had wavered a little, God answered her prayers and brought the man to church.
Didn't that mean he was meant for her? This thought made Janey become even bolder in approaching him the next Sunday to say hi. And the Sunday after that Sunday, and the Sunday after the Sunday after that Sunday.
And after about six Sundays had passed by he'd become a frequent face in the church and she'd gotten used to seeing him and saying hi to him every Sunday morning.
Then on the seventh Sunday which was the first Sunday in the month of April, Janey mustered up the courage to ask him, "C_can I get your phone number?"
Alan, who was waiting for Duke, Champagne and the twins to return from the pastor's office, had to force back a smile as she asked that question.
She wasn't the only one who had gotten used to their little greetings on Sundays.
