Chapter 52. Oh, Dilemma

Aleysia was caught in a dilemma that might have been stressing her more than she wanted. The weight of her desires pressed upon her, a burden she longed to unburden, yet the fear of judgment and the well-being of those she cared for kept her rooted in silence.

Seeking advice was a dangerous choice since every possible trustworthy person had difficulties of their own. Approaching her best friend/sister, Whitney made Aleysia nervous; she dared not run the chance of being dissed brutally for the rest of her life. And Tyrone, with his heart so obviously focused on her, isn't an option, Aleysia advised against, as doing so would only help to worsen his suffering.

Then there were Yolanda and Jamal, the parental figures whose wisdom and guidance Aleysia cherished. But to share with them the personal complexity of her relationship with Medusa seemed an impossible chore.
