Dragon Slayer VS Dragons VS Acnologia... Vs Gods?

{Heads up, MC lost his power to devour any element as he fused other magic into Phoenix Slayer Magic. Phoenix Slayer Magic would remain the main form of magic, fire is his main element.}

How big was the dragon race? About 300k dragons were walking the earth, all spread out between the 3 continents. With so many dragons joining the war, then it was safe to say that the world would be destroyed if such mighty beings went around destroying land left and right.

There were indeed a lot of dragon slayers, yet to no one shock, the number of dragons outnumbered the dragon slayers. This magic was still spreading across the world, but it allowed for both sides to be equal in might.

"How are things?" Stepping onto the main battlefield, Irene asked Belserion, who went on to tell her the current state of the battlefield. She nodded for some time, before having me go off to heal where I was needed, so I did just that as my flames went on to heal away everyone's injuries, all but Erza who refused.

"If this is about my condition last month, I don't blame you, you made the best call," I said to her, to which Erza snorted.

"Like I would kick myself over something so small. I'm the knight dragon slayer, I have the upper hands with 4 blades compared to 2 blades." She said showing her overpowered swords,

"Oh, Ryu I almost forgot something," Irene said with a smile, confusing me. But my nose picked up the smell of a few souls I knew. My heart dropped while looking over, and there I saw Levi, Elsa, and the former homeless guys. There were even many dragons I had healed which took root in the back of the mountain,

"They pretty much begged me to be under you. So, I did just that." Irene said seeing how I didn't take the news well. So, she threw all of the blame onto them,

"They are under me now? Meaning I could order them?" I asked to which Irene nodded.

"Then, I'm sending you all back home," I said calmly, to which Elsa showed a cocky grin, along with everyone else, a smile I didn't like.

"They have committed crimes which banished them to the battlefield. If they return home, they will be put to death. In other words, this is the only way to clear their name up." Irene said to which all of them nodded at her words.

I was left speechless, all of them were willing to go so far? I sighed, while I nodded in defeat, but Irene wasn't done.

"You should return home," Irene said calmly while looking at Erza, who just snorted at her, before ignoring her. Irene was annoyed, for Erza had been on this battlefield for months, and look at her current condition. She was missing both legs which she replaced with swords, she had at most gotten 4 hours of sleep a day, and most of the day was spent with her in combat. She needed rest, she didn't have phoenix slayer magic like me.

"It's either that, or you go under Ryu's team as his right hand," Irene said making Erza's face turn dark. The two went on to glare at each other, and Irene didn't take a step back in this matter, but Erza did something that Irene didn't expect as she shrugged, accepting being my right hand. Erza was many things, but she did not like taking orders easily. Irene was sure she would have returned to the Empire.

Irene looked at Erza for some time, before sighing while letting me go ahead, leading my force forward. So, we headed forward, there were only 25 people in my group. I stayed back while ensuring their safety, although it looked like I was doing nothing, every time I looked at a dragon, their mind exploded into flames, killing them.

So, I was back into the chaos of war, but I was far stronger than the last time I was here.... but who said our enemies were not growing stronger? Why did the Dragon God attack Ishgar? Because it was the weakest out of all of the continents, it only had 1 Dragon King who had the strength to rival it. But that Dragon King didn't care for the war, even as Dragon Slayers came to life.

But what about Guiltina? There was more than 1 Dragon King with might at the Dragon God, but the Dragon God also had a few Dragon kings with might nearing the Dragon God level. The Dragon God planned to get the forces of Ishgar to join him, so they could outpower Guilitina, but that was out of the picture now.

At the moment, The Dragon God was standing before the 3 Dragon Gods of Guiltina, all 4 dragons enraged by the humans whose power was increasing.

"What did that Fire Dragon King say? Did he refuse to join us?" The 5-headed Dragon God said angrily. Well, he couldn't be called Dragon God anymore for his strength was only nearing the Dragon God level, but he surely did seem like it to the rest of the world.

"He said he doesn't care, as if he doesn't know how serious this war is to our race. He is too arrogant." The Sun Dragon King said in annoyance, he is the weakest of the 3 Strongest Dragon Gods in Guiltina.

"Some humans are already going mad from the power, We need to put a stop to this before things get worse." The Apocalyptic Dragon King said calmly, going on to stand up. He was the second-strongest Dragon of Guiltina.

"Where are you going? This is a war of races," The Strongest of the Dragon Kings, The Dragon Emperor said calmly, opening one eye to look at the Apocalyptic Dragon King. 

"I'm going to the battlefield to stretch my limbs." The Apocalyptic Dragon King said in annoyance, before rocketing off. It had used transformation magic to shrink its size, but its real size began to form, as he returned to his original form, which was a mountain size.

The Apocalyptic Dragon King was a dragon of chaos, an evil dragon that enjoyed the thrill of chaos, for it devoured it all to grow stronger. It flew across the ocean, slowly a grin forming on its face sensing the chaos up ahead.

"Something is coming." After a few hours back on the battlefield, which didn't need me to be as extra as the last time I was here... well, I felt something was coming. Floating in the sky, I looked toward the ocean, frowning at the strange element heading towards us... I hated this element. 

"Ryu, looks like we would be fighting together. Let's go." Irene said before bursting forward towards the Ocean, my heart dropped seeing this before I quickly shot forward to be at her side.

"You act like you guys are the main characters," Samuel said with a smirk while flying at our side. He wasn't alone as the kings of the other empires shot forward, all of us shooting toward The Apocalyptic Dragon King.

"I will take the lead," I said before bursting off, but I was forced to pause and block the huge dark red beam of energy. My arms which were wings moved, shielding me. The Apocalyptic Dragon Breath clashed with my wings, nullifying the attack, the breath attack being purified right out of existence.

With a burst, I shot forward, and my sword appeared in my hands once I got neared. I fell towards the huge evil dragon, which smirked while sending forth Apocalyptic Dragon Claws, which clashed with my sword, creating a huge shock wave that split the ocean.

'We're equal!' I thought in shock seeing how we were equal in power. If we were equal in power, I would be stronger thanks to my magic being far too powerful. The Dragon roared in pain as its soul burned my cut, to have such an evil soul and trade blows with me... was it asking for death?

Boom

I was suddenly slammed by the tail which moved with speed and power I didn't expect, I was sent rocketing down into the ocean, shooting straight towards the bottom of the sea.

"... It grows stronger through chaos, kill it fast!" Irene said while looking towards where I left, she wasn't worried for me, If I could die so easily, I would have died long ago. She enchanted the air, causing it to explode behind the dragon, sending it shooting towards them, before they went on to quickly launch attacks.

But they were all forced back as a powerful sun came falling from the heavens, and the sun began to boil the ocean, killing countless animals. I burst out of the ocean and quickly opened my mouth to devour the sun, but I didn't get to enjoy my meal as I was sent rocketing away by the Dragon Emperor.

I skipped across the ocean, Irene wasted no time, enchanting the ocean and giving it life. The Ocean moved to attack the Dragon Emperor, who ignored the ocean as the 5-headed Dragon King dealt with it.

The Dragon Emperor rocketed towards me, while the ocean grabbed me, throwing me towards the Dragon. I took a deep breath, and putting my hands before my mouth, I let out the Fire Phoenix Cry, sending forth a huge dark gold-red beam rocketing toward the Dragon Emperor Breath attack.

The two attacks clashed, and although my fire was winning, to my shock it was a barely win, and it seemed only thanks to the fact my magic was super effective on dragons. The Dragon Emperor rocketed towards me, which I quickly answered by trying to burn away this dragon's lifespan. But the dragon answered me by channeling its Dragon Emperor magic, clashing against my magic.

We traded blow after blow, meanwhile, Irene was facing off against the Apocalyptic Dragon, the dragon growing stronger and stronger the longer the battle went on. The Sun Dragon and the 5-headed dragon were facing Samuel and the others, along with the ocean.

We fought for hours until we in the end fell backward seeing dragons coming to support the 4 dragons. This allowed us to get more support from land, before in the end, the battle came to an end, a standstill.

Both sides fell backward, marking it as the end of today's war, while we all went on to start planning ways to deal with the dragons... but the dragons were also working on ways to deal with us.

But while all of this was happening, a dragon slayer was devouring the flesh of dragons, which greatly strengthened its powers, all while its elements mixed and clashed, slowly allowing this dragon slayer the capability to devour any element... birthing Arcane Dragon Slayer Magic, magic which allows him to devour any form of magic to restore his energy. 

That was the opposite of me, as my flames were heading towards a path where they could mimic the effect of any form of magic. I wasn't able to devour any form of magic anymore after fusing so much magic with my flames, flames were my main element.
