Yin Yin applied her makeup with practiced precision, carefully enhancing her features with an eyebrow pencil. After fifteen minutes of meticulous work, she was done.
The woman, who was already enchanting with her alluring eyes, now transformed into a stunning lady.
Su Mo and Su Yuanjin observed the entire transformation. Su Mo leaned against the door with his arms folded, while Su Yuanjin peered around the corner. At that moment, the two—one tall and one small—shared the same expression: sheer astonishment!
Yin Yin finished her makeup, closed her bag, and turned to the father and son with a playful smile. "How do I look?"
Su Mo gaped in disbelief. "Mom, is that really you?"
"Do you think so?" If Su Yuanjin hadn't been wearing a hat, Yin Yin might have scooped him up and lovingly ruffled his curly hair.
Recovering from his surprise, Su Mo said, "Ayin, your makeup skills are incredible."
Yin Yin shrugged modestly. "Well, it's a part of the job when you're my husband. I guess it comes with the territory."
Su Mo nodded in agreement. "It makes sense. But Sister Yin Yin, you're absolutely adorable when you're a bit proud."
Their gazes locked, and Yin Yin took in Su Mo's figure. Standing at 1.88 meters with broad shoulders and a narrow waist, his long legs were strikingly smooth and muscular. Though he appeared slender when dressed, his toned physique was undeniably impressive. Last night, she had discovered his well-defined abs and attractive physique, which made him an enviable young idol.
At 25, after years as a househusband, he still retained a youthful charm, resembling a recent college graduate.
Sensitive to her gaze, Su Mo's ears turned crimson. "Let's go," he said hurriedly. He bent down to pick up Dudu and quickly made his escape, his back turned in a comical display of panic.
All three wore hats: Su Mo carried a black backpack, and Su Yuanjin held a small water bottle. They set off for their destination.
After an hour's drive, they arrived at Kyoto's largest children's amusement park. The place was bustling with families, as it was Saturday.
Su Yuanjin's excitement was palpable—this was his first visit to an amusement park. His wide eyes darted around in wonder.
Although Su Mo initially worried about the attention Yin Yin might attract without a mask or sunglasses, he was relieved to find that no one recognized her. The magic of makeup never ceased to amaze him.
"Here, Toot, hold out your hand," Yin Yin said, tying a balloon to Su Yuanjin's wrist.
Su Yuanjin's eyes sparkled as he gazed at the balloon, his brows curving into a delighted smile.
"Do you like it?" Yin Yin asked.
Su Yuanjin nodded vigorously. "I like it." Despite being three years old and the balloon seeming a bit childish, it was his first time having one tied on his wrist by his mother, which made him very happy.
Their first stop at the amusement park? The carousel, of course.
Although Su Mo felt slightly embarrassed as an adult riding the carousel, he couldn't refuse his wife and child's excitement. So, he bravely joined them, becoming another "Trojan horse" alongside Yin Yin and Su Yuanjin.
Soon, the wooden horse began to spin, and they all enjoyed the ride.
-------
Su Yuanjin was brimming with excitement, pointing eagerly outside and chattering away with Yin Yin.
Su Mo took out the camera he had prepared and snapped a photo of the two of them. Though Yin Yin's face was a bit different from before, he could always edit it later. What mattered most was capturing memories of their fun family outings.
After enjoying the carousel and a few rounds on the bumper cars, it was time for Su Mo and Su Yuanjin to team up against Yin Yin.
Su Yuanjin gripped the steering wheel tightly, his cheeks flushed and his eyes sparkling like gems. Behind him, Yin Yin cheered enthusiastically, "Dudu, go for it! Hit daddy, hit him!"
"Dad, here I come!" Su Yuanjin maneuvered the steering wheel and charged forward, skillfully dodging Su Mo's attempts to collide with them.
Watching his son and wife deftly avoid his advances, Su Mo was deeply impressed by Su Yuanjin's steering prowess. Clearly, he was a little genius with a high IQ.
"Come on, drink some water and let me wipe the sweat off," Yin Yin said after they got off the bumper cars. She took out a tissue to dab the sweat from Su Yuanjin's forehead and then opened the small water bottle she had brought.
The little guy eagerly gulped down several mouthfuls of water.
"Now, let's get some cotton candy," Yin Yin said. No trip to the amusement park was complete without cotton candy.
Yin Yin led Su Yuanjin to the cotton candy stall, where they joined the line. After a wait of about fifteen minutes, it was finally their turn.
Colored sugars were spun in the machine, forming fluffy, colorful cotton candy on long bamboo sticks. The different hues of sugar created a vibrant array of cotton candy.
When Su Yuanjin received his cotton candy, he looked up in awe and said, "Mom, it's bigger than my face!"
Indeed, the cotton candy shaped like a flower was larger than his little face.
"Mom and Dad, you have some too," Su Yuanjin said, even though he was eager to try it himself. He believed that things you enjoy should be shared with others.
Without hesitation, Yin Yin took a bite from his hand, savoring the sweet taste. Su Mo did the same.
Seeing his parents enjoy the cotton candy, Su Yuanjin took a big bite himself, his face lighting up with joy.
"How is it? Is it good?" Yin Yin asked.
"It's delicious. Thanks for buying it, Mom!" Su Yuanjin beamed, revealing his adorable dimples.
Yin Yin felt a strong urge to scoop her sweet little boy into her arms and cuddle him. How could her son be so well-behaved and cute?
Just then, a little girl's voice rang out, "Hey, Su Yuanjin, is that you?"
Yin Yin and the others turned to see two adults with a little girl dressed in a pink princess outfit. The girl, who was about the same age as Su Yuanjin, had pretty braids and a face as delicate as a doll. She also held a cotton candy in her hand.
"Chu Li!" Su Yuanjin exclaimed.
"Su Yuanjin, it's really you!" The little girl ran over, thrilled to see her friend. "You came to the amusement park!"
"Yeah!" Su Yuanjin, bursting with excitement, grabbed Su Mo's hand with one hand and Yin Yin's with the other. "Chu Li, these are my parents."
This was Su Yuanjin's first time introducing his parents to a friend, and he was bubbling with happiness.
