When Yin Yin emerged from washing her hands, she was taken aback by the heartwarming scene before her.
"Come and eat," Su Mo said, looking up with a clear and melodious voice.
"Okay."
Yin Yin settled beside him, and throughout the meal, Su Mo took exceptional care of her. He was genuinely happy to be able to both act and dine with his wife.
Su Mo truly proved himself to be an exemplary father and husband.
After lunch, Su Mo intended to leave, but Yin Yin insisted he stay.
"There are only the two of us on this floor. Don't worry, no one will come up here uninvited. Since we're married, there's no reason for us to sleep in separate rooms," Yin Yin said.
Su Mo, while hesitant about the possibility of attracting unwanted attention, agreed to stay after Yin Yin's reassurance.
The afternoon sun streamed through the window, casting a soft golden hue on the floor. On the bed, the couple lay peacefully together, embraced in sleep.
---
Meanwhile, Liang Xin had obtained Su Mo's information from Sister Hu.
"So he debuted four years ago and then quit?" Liang Xin queried, puzzled by the details.
Sister Hu shook her head, unable to uncover further details. The situation was indeed odd. Given Su Mo's overnight fame, if he had seized the opportunity, his status could have been quite different by now.
"Maybe he offended someone," Sister Hu speculated. Making it in the entertainment industry is challenging, and it's easy to offend influential figures. With Su Mo's looks, it's possible someone might have sabotaged him.
Liang Xin agreed with this assessment.
"Perfect. It seems Su Mo lacks a strong background," Liang Xin said with a knowing smile.
Sister Hu hesitated before asking, "Are you sure you want Su Mo?"
"Absolutely," Liang Xin responded decisively. "With Su Mo, I still consider the company's trainees beneath me."
Sister Hu frowned slightly, finding it strange that Su Mo had made a comeback after four years, re-signed with Shenghuang, and received such attention from Yin Yin. But she couldn't make sense of it.
Nevertheless, with the Chu family backing Liang Xin, she presumed there would be no issues.

At Shenghuang Entertainment, Chu Heng was reviewing documents when his phone rang.
Closing the file, he answered, "Dad, what's up?"
"Xiao Heng, your grandma has woken up."
Chu Heng immediately stood up. "Okay, I'm heading to the hospital right now."
At Chu's Hospital, a number of prominent figures from politics and business were gathered outside the corridor.
Chu Heng rushed in and went straight to the ward.
His parents were standing at the door.
"Xiao Heng, you're here."
"Mom, Dad, how is Grandma?"
"She just woke up. Your grandpa is with her. Go in quickly—she's asking for you."
Chu Heng opened the door and entered.
Beside the bed sat an elderly woman in a Tang suit, while the frail old woman lay in the bed, her eyes bright as she looked at Chu Heng.
"Is it Hengheng?" she asked.
Chu Heng's eyes welled up with tears. He took her hand and choked up, "Grandma, it's me, Hengheng. You're awake at last. I'm so glad." Despite not remembering their time together, the emotional bond he felt was profound.
---
The old man gently stroked his wife's hair. Tears streamed down her face as she spoke, "I feel so sorry for your aunt. I don't know whether she is alive or dead. How is it that an old woman like me is still here while she was taken from us when she was so young?"
The old man wept bitterly, and even the woman who had always been decisive in both military and business matters was moved to tears. Their little daughter had been their greatest joy and their deepest pain.
Chu Huai, Chu Heng's grandfather, founded the massive Chu Group. He and his childhood sweetheart were deeply in love and had three children together—a son and another son, and then a daughter born when they were in their forties. She was their late-born blessing.
They adored their youngest daughter, and so did her two older brothers, who were about to marry. When their youngest daughter was just two years old, Chu Heng was born to the eldest son and his wife.
Tragically, soon after, Chu Huai's enemies attempted to kidnap the infant Chu Heng to threaten him. But the two-year-old daughter, realizing the threat, hid the baby but was captured herself.
When Chu Huai and his wife returned to find their little daughter had been taken, it felt as though the world had collapsed around them. In the ensuing struggle, their vehicles collided. Chu Huai's wife protected him resolutely, and although Chu Huai was severely injured, he survived. However, his wife became critically ill, eventually falling into a coma and becoming a vegetable, with no hope of recovery.
Chu Huai dedicated himself to caring for her, and for thirty-three years, he not only continued her treatment but also searched relentlessly for their missing daughter. Despite his efforts, she remained elusive, and his wife never awoke.
In his despair, Chu Huai resigned himself to waiting for death to reunite him with his wife. Yet, after thirty-three years, she finally regained consciousness.
The first thing she did was ensure Chu Huai was well. Upon learning that their daughter had been missing all these years and was still unaccounted for, she was devastated and fainted from the shock.
"I've been searching for Aunt's whereabouts and have found some leads. Don't worry, I'll find her soon," Chu Heng reassured them.
"Yes, we must find her," the old man said, his hands trembling but firmly grasping Chu Heng's. "We must find her."

The filming of "Phoenix Road" had begun, and both Yin Yin and Su Mo were busier than ever, especially Yin Yin, who, as the female lead, had an even heavier workload.
However, her current busyness was different from the past. She used to neglect her family, but now, no matter how hectic her schedule, she always made time for them, especially for Dudu.
At night, the city was alive with neon lights and vibrant activity. In their hotel room, Yin Yin sat on the bed, playing Lego with Su Yuanjin.
Yin Yin scrutinized a Lego piece, struggling to figure out where it fit, while Su Yuanjin's chubby hands assembled pieces with ease. His quick work impressed Yin Yin but also made her feel a bit foolish.
"Mom, it's okay. Dudu will teach you," Su Yuanjin said confidently, patting his chest. Though he wanted to laugh at his mother's confusion, he was wary of her possible reaction.
"Alright, show me how."
"By the way, Mom, when will Dad be back?"
"He should be done soon. In about half an hour, he'll finish filming and join us to play Lego."
