One Stalks The Other

Dane threw back another shot of Jack Daniel's, the burn a welcome comfort. The low lightning in the mix bar, and club hid his figure perfectly, letting him watch the boy on the dance floor without being caught.

He doubt he anyone would have noticed him anyway even if he could be seen in the low lightning. He wasn't the only person watching the boy on the danc floor.

He couldn't blame the others for not being able to look away from the enticing scene before them. He couldn't look away either, but for different reasons.

There was no doubt Rue was something to behold. A complete masterpiece that was meant to be ruined.

Rue's body moved to the sensual music, tempting all those that was watching, his clothes teasing what was hidden underneath. If he was closer he could almost be sure that he would see the way the eyeliner made his eyes pop.

Dane was almost amused at Rue's actions. Rue now knew he was watching. He considered this a show to grab his attention. Or he could possibly be wrong, and Rue just wanted the attention from everyone in the room

He continued to sip his drink watching Rue over the rim of his glass, the younger man eyes fluttered closed feeling the music.

Briefly he took his eyes off the boy in favor of watching those around. He caught a few hungry gazes looking at Rue. They looked at him like he was something to be controlled. The type of gazes that made them easy prey.

They will soon learn that Rue was nothing to be controlled. They was nothing, but dirty beneath his shoes.

By the time Dane turned back to the dance floor a brunette woman had joined. The brunette woman danced in front of Rue matching his movements. Rue grabbed her waist bringing her closer to him, leaning in close to whisper something in her ear.

It didn't escape his eyes that the friend that was previous with Rue was now gone, a new man now took his place behind him.

Dane silently laughed. The man found an opportunity, and he took it. A game of enie miny moe took place in his head choosing who he thought Rue will possibly kill.

The man won.

The man tried to control Rue's movements, turning Rue's head to bring him into a heated kiss. During all that time Rue kept his hand on the woman's waist dancing.

Both parted for breath, Rue whispered something in the man's ear before doing the same to the woman. It wasn't long before they all was leaving.

Dane waited before he followed behind them, not before paying for his drink in cash. The trio was already down the street when he left the doors of the bar.

He didn't follow immediately, he stopped to smoke by a random car letting them putting some distance between them that he wouldn't be caught.

Slowly he followed a great distance between them as he stuck close to the walls, hiding his face from the street lights. The shadows worked in his favor of hiding him away.

Maybe that's why he seen them before they seen him. 'Rue picked up some interesting people.' Dane thought, a smile coming to his face.

Dane wouldn't admit to anyone else that he was surprised about the new uninvited guest. Who would have known he wasn't the only person stalking Rue.

Their intentions remained unclear for now. He didn't think the new addition was a threat to what's his. If they was he would have to get rid of them, and that's the last thing he wanted to do on short notice.

One thing he hated the most was having to deviate from his plan.

As someone stalked Rue, and Dane stalked them, he was completely unaware that he too was being stalked, and watched by someone.

A change of plan would be needed when the trio headed into a brightly lit hotel. Dane realize he wouldn't be able to hide, forcing him to come to a stop in the shadows.

The one following Rue stopped too, lowering their head as they followed behind, the baseball cap hiding their face as they walked into the hotel.

Dane waited, he wanted to see what they looked like. It was all in vain when he realized his new target wasn't going to slip up.

'Good for them for being so clever' Dane thought. It would be a shame if he lost Rue to someone that was incompetent.

Dane soon followed after into the building, unlike them the other person he was actually getting a room. There was no way he was going back home tonight.

He took his room key, giving the receptionist an exaggerated story about how his boyfriend was here to cheat on him with two people, and that he wanted to catch him in the act.

The receptionist gave him an odd look, no doubt seeing the age different between them. Dane didn't care he just wanted Rue's room number, which he got in the end.

Honestly it would have been much easier if he had his badge on him, he wouldn't be force to tel this story.

Dane headed to the elevator under the watchful gaze of receptionist, but something in him told him to look back. His instincts was telling him someone was looking at him. It made him on guard. Especially if they was looking at him before now, and he didn't sense it.

Except no one was in the lobby forcing him to drag him gaze to outside. He watched the shadows waiting to see even the slightest of movements.

There was none. That didn't mean it lowered his suspicion, he just putted aside for now. He'll have Lee look back at the cameras to see if they followed.

Once more Dane headed to his room, conveniently it was on Rue's floor directly beside each other.

The sounds of moans filled Dane's room. Rue and his company was loud. Unbelievable loud. He suspected Rue wasn't going to kill anyone when they went in tbe hotel.

Instead he wasted his energy following them. That didn't mean he wasn't rewarded for following him. He learned Rue has a stalker.

Dane quickly took a sheet of paper from the notepad writing down another letter from Rue. If any of his companions found it well... he's not sure how Rue would get out of that.

He quickly slipped his finished letter under the door. He would need to find a better way to get his letters to Rue. Not everyday will he be able to conveniently get his letters to him.

The moment he got back in his room he flopped on the bed, burying his face behind his arms. Today showed him that he has competition. Competition that he has the get rid of.

He wasn't one to share. Even if their reasons from stalking Rue was different from his.

He marked Rue as his and nothing will ever change that. Someone will have to kill him first before he gave up Rue. Is he crazy for going to such lengths just to kill Rue? Perhaps. Did he care? No.

Rue was his end of story.

Without that thought in mind he slowly drifted off to sleep, dreaming of murdering Rue's stalkers.
