Romeo and Juliet

Charles was not sure he could comprehend what his grandfather was trying to say to him. Getting paid to ruin someone? He had no idea about what he meant by that.

When the chairman tried talking again to clarify the air, Ahneeka walked out of the dressing room and again, he rated her dress after which she went back inside and he got ready to finally clear the air on what he had said.

"When you were still living poorly, didn't the sister pay you money to ruin her? Why are you acting all surprised? Did your conscience judge you so much to the extent you refused marrying anyone else that wasn't her?"

The question was brazen and Charles jaw dropped the momentbhe heard that. Where was the chairman hearing all these lies from? Was that what Ahneeka had said to him on their way here? Was she trying to discredit him in order to gain his grandfather's pity?
