Rebecca’s Awakening

Rebecca’s Awakening

The world around Rebecca blurred, the sounds of battle fading into a muffled hum. Her vision swam in and out of focus as she lay on the ground, the sharp sting of the arrow in her side pulsing through her body. She could hear John calling her name, his voice desperate, but it felt distant like it was coming from another world. The pain was unbearable, but something else was happening, something deeper. Her skin tingled, and her mind was consumed by a strange, overwhelming energy that made her heart race.

“Stay with me, Rebecca!” John’s voice broke through the fog, his hands pressing down on her wound, trying to stop the bleeding.

But Rebecca couldn’t respond. Her body trembled, and the world around her began to darken, not from unconsciousness but from something else entirely. She closed her eyes, and in the darkness, shapes began to form—vague at first, but slowly sharpening into terrifying clarity.
