Amon's words cut deep, but more importantly, they were out of line. An unknown young man, under twenty, spoke without prior permission in the High Council. Not just that, he also insulted the council with his words, something unthinkable for a youngster of his stature. Usually, it would have been grounds for expulsion and potentially, punishment. But they couldn't brazenly execute a punishment with the Solaris Lord around.
