One vs One

"Wow! How can he do that?" said one of the kids in awe.

Just as one could already guess, I picked up the circle-less stone as if it weighed nothing, which made the examiner quite interested.

The second test wasn't finished yet. The examiner asked us to do various tasks to evaluate our strengths. I did all of them to the best of my ability and, as expected, left the observers in awe.

"... and with that, I conclude the exam. You all may rest until my co-workers and I decide on the accepted ones," said the examiner.

Everyone lay on the ground, exhausted, and began to think about how they did in the exam. Many were bright, knowing they would be accepted, while some wore no happy expression.

"You did very well. Do you think you will pass?" asked Jay, the girl who began talking to me after the first part of the exam.

"That is nothing but absolute," I said with confidence.

"Well, if you say so," she said with confusion.
