Chapter 44 — Lunch Time

"Dark blue is the immensity

That stretches across the void,

The travelers will sail the infinity

Visiting many a star and asteroid.

"Long and perilous is their quest

And yet, lo and behold

How the veil of light clouds is suppressed

Unveiling mysteries untold."

Pebbles was composing and declaiming another poem to cheer up the entire crew and inspire them for their long travel, while they were now departing from the solar system.

The Egg was cruising in the cold loneliness of the interstellar space. The Sun behind them, was no more a distinguishable light, but rather, one star among the thousands of stars that were surrounding them far away in every direction.

"There's nothing more to do right now than wait." said Pebbles to Milky. "The distances are so large that it takes a very long time to cross them."

"I see."
