Eliana was silent for a while and didn't even know it until Kayla asked, "Won't you say something?"

Kayla let out a nervous chuckle and said, "You just went silent after I told you I am pregnant." "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't even realize. First of all, congratulations." Eliana said, finally regaining herself.

"No, I'm planning to tell him when he asks me to marry him." Kayla replied with a smile. "That's great. I'm happy for the both of you." Eliana said with a smile. Kayla sighed and said, "After I found out about the baby, I just needed someone to talk to, and I'm glad I met you."

"I'm glad you saw me as someone who could confide in him." Eliana said and took another bite of her cake, but for some reason, it tasted bitter in her mouth.

"You know, Eliana, I'm really happy about this baby. It's a symbol of our love, but I'm also worried."
