I KNOW YOUR BRA SIZE

Dylan was flabbergasted to see Ranon Leighton come to his house. He had been trying to get to him with whatever means that he could think of, even to the point of using his own little sister, but nothing ever worked.

He had been keeping tabs on this man ever since he took over Gallahan Leighton's seat as the president of the Leighton company, which was three years ago when their company was on the verge of bankruptcy, and this man managed to pull off a remarkable comeback.

But now, after all his efforts, this man had finally walked into his house willingly.

"About the proposal…"

"I am not here to talk about the proposal," Ranon cut him off. "I want to see your sister, Hazel Rose."

Dylan was surprised, he thought his plan had failed miserably and somehow, his sister and Ranon could escape their predicament, but what did it mean if he came looking for his sister now?

There was this slight furrow between Dylan's brows that didn't go unnoticed by Ranon.

"May I know what this is about? Did my sister offend you somehow, Mr. Leighton."

"This is about business."

"Business?" Dylan raised his brows, but he didn't pry further, as he ordered someone to call for Hazel. He rarely saw that girl and because she didn't show any sign of distress, he assumed his plan didn't work.

However, it took them an hour of waiting to see her actually appear. During this one hour of time, Dylan tried to make small talk with Ranon, about the business or any other topic that could pique Ranon's interest, but to no avail.

"Is her room in a different part of this city?" Ranon cut Dylan off when he talked about expanding their business to the Gharand city, which was five cities from here.

"I will look for her myself," Dylan said, as he could feel Ranon's impatience. He didn't want to upset him and ruin this much awaited meeting.

But, before he could go find Hazel, someone knocked on the door and she entered at the same time when Dylan told her to come in.

She was wearing a simple white shirt and pajama pants, with her hair coiled on top of her head. She didn't wear any makeup and looked fresh, aside from the eye bags under her eyes.

"Yes? I heard you called for me?" Hazel asked.

Ranon was surprised to see her again, especially in this simple outfit, she looked homey and comfortable, but Dylan didn't have the same impression, he frowned so hard.

"You know you will meet a guest, what kind of clothes are you wearing?"

Hazel glanced at Ranon. Well, this man had seen her naked, should she not wear any clothes then?

"I just woke up. Should I take a bath and change my attire to a more proper one?" River asked innocently.

It took her an hour to come here, how many hours would it take for her to return to her bedroom, take a bath, choose her clothes and then do her make up to look presentable and come back again?

Ranon would even have to stay for dinner if they let her leave now.

"No. I don't mind your clothes. They look good on you," Ranon said, but River could feel there was a hidden meaning behind his simple words. "Can I talk to her alone?"

"Sure."

Surprisingly, Dylan didn't make it hard, as he left them alone without any questions. He closed the door behind him and River approached Ranon, her back to the door, staring at the garden from the window.

"There is a surveillance camera here." River had checked the whole house at night and knew where all the CCTV cameras in this house were, since Hazel's memory about this kind of thing was not helping at all.

Ranon understood, he stood next to her, staring out there, having his back facing the door.

"So, why are you looking for me?" River asked, even though she knew the gist of his questions. For him to come to the Rose family house, this man must be very curious about her.

"You already know the question I want to ask you."

"I am not a mind reader." River yawned, she really wanted to sleep again. Earlier, she had refused to come, but the maid urged her to get up and wash her face, or else, Dylan would be livid.

"How do you know there is someone who wants to kill a member of the Leighton family?"

"I can't tell you that. You can say I have connections."

Ranon glanced at her. "As someone as smart as you, you must know that I came here because I couldn't find anything about you."

"What? The information that you managed to gather about me is not enough to satisfy your curiosity?" River glanced at him, there was this mischievous smile on the corner of her lips.

"Let's say I know your bra size, but I can't figure out how you are connected to the Lozen family. Information about you didn't make any sense."

River scrunched her nose. "You sound like a pervert."

"Stalker maybe, pervert no."

River made a face. How could he say that easily and not be offended at all?

"So? Is your source legit?"

"Of course." River crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Let's treat that as my repayment for taking too much of your money."

"I have given you important information too, so you still owe me." Ranon was being petty.

River sighed. "If you came here only to figure out where I got the information from, I am sorry to disappoint you, but if you came here to do business with me, count me in."

This was a very bold request, but after River thought about it, it would be faster to get to her family and destroy those people, who had wronged her, with the help of Ranon Leighton. This man was her Joker.

"Business?" Ranon smirked. He liked her bluntness. "What do you want?"
