My happiness will fade

"Sir, Madam, this is your room. Please don't hesitate to call room service if you need anything," the hotel staff said with a polite smile. "Enjoy your stay." With that, he stepped out and gently closed the door behind him.

Layla wandered into the room, her eyes immediately drawn to the balcony. Lucius followed her, and together they stepped outside. The view was breathtaking—a serene, vast lake stretched out before them, surrounded by clusters of small trees swaying gently in the after rain breeze.

"Doesn't this place look so dreamy?" Layla asked, turning to face Lucius, her radiant smile reaching her eyes.

"It does," he replied in a warm tone.

"Click some pictures of me," she said, her enthusiasm bubbling over.

Lucius chuckled softly, reaching into his pocket for his phone. "Alright, let's capture them."

Layla struck a few playful poses, the joy on her face evident as he snapped photos.
